CJ's Coffee Cafe - Coffee shop in Sherman - 818 N Travis St, USA

Ordered a chicken salad only to get cold dry chicken. And the lack of chicken is a slap in the face. Wth CJ’s?! It was over $12 for this!!!

My wife, daughter and myself all ordered food from here, my daughters Acai Bowl was ordered a specific way and it came out what was more convenient for the restaurant and how they wanted to make it not the way the Customer ordered it! My wife and I ordered the Avacodo toast 2 days in a row for breakfast it was great tasted great, but unless you ask for the Balsamic Vinigerette on the small side salad you're gonna get creamy garlic (directly from owner/manager). We contacted them and talked to the owner/manager on the phone and it was pretty much hey sorry that happened but it is the way we make that makes it convenient for us not how the customer wants it. Sure hope everyone takes this into consideration before you chose your meal here or make sure you ask about all options and makes it the way you want it prepared not the way that's convenient for them.

Five out of Five.....This is my impression of CJ's Coffee. Modern but country, great food and not over priced. This is what I call an perfect combination. The ingredients were fresh and paired perfectly. If the location wasn't 35 minutes away from my home, I would go back for lunch:) If your ever in or passing by Sherman Texas, CJ's is a must:)

We are coffee drinkers. We’re always looking for places to just have coffee. The young lady, who served us our coffee… She was extremely friendly and helpful. This was our first time to visit this quaint, quiet, and intimate coffee shop. And we Googled up “coffee shops”. We’re so glad we decided to try them out. I recommend, (everyone who like coffee) to give them a visit…

I had a GREAT coffee and wonderful customer service but the place needs a good cleaning! The entry way was very dirty it almost made me walk out! However i had a long drive ahead of me and I wanted a great coffee and I definitely got that! Brooklyn was very kind and patient with me. its a cute place with great coffee it needs to be cleaner including the restrooms!

I've been to many quaint coffee houses and CJ's is in the top 3 for me. Exemplary atmosphere and a peaceful vibe to the place. It's quiet. The popular large chain coffee shop is so noisy so this place is a refreshing welcome. The employees are fantastic, kind and know their stuff. Not only are the drinks delicious but they have wonderful food options as well. You won't regret stopping by.

I wanted to give this place a try instead of Starbucks and I’m so glad I did! I ordered two cupcakes (chocolate & strawberry) both were delicious, but if I had to choose between the two I definitely recommend the strawberry. I was pleasantly surprised with the large size of cupcakes, I’ll be back to try the lemon next! There’s so many different syrup flavors, I wanted to try them all! I highly recommend the caramel toasted marshmallow iced latte with oat milk, so good! My kids also loved their vanilla oat milk steamers, they finished them right away. I’ll be back and plan on making this my go to for coffee!

I have been a daily customer of this restaurant since I’ve moved here. The original crew that was there which I know people come and go being a restaurant manager myself. The food quality has gone down significantly and the customer service is just sad the bigger girl who is working the drive-through window is completely uncompassionate in caring when there’s a problem all she will say is OK ha ha. You tell her thank you for fixing your food and have a nice day and all she can respond is um OK I’m a very easy-going person and yes I was a little frustrated with the situation because this is constantly happening. They keep putting pork on my food when I do not eat pork, and I have to drive back and have them remake it, or try to substitute it for some thing, I understand a lot of people do not have experience in the customer service field. At the same time you should be much more professional and kind to your customers. I actually miss the old crew that was there. They were extremely friendly, and would go above and beyond for you, and the food always was delicious but now the food quality has plummeted, the members that remain at this location that are part of the old crew are fabulous and they have great customer service skills. The rest that are new do not I hope by writing this, and being upfront and honest about my opinion, will make a difference in the quality of food and customer service With the new team members that you have. Communication is the key when working with customers and they need to let people know upfront that they’re out of things before they order or at least try to rectify it and make sure the orders are coming out right and the food looks like something you would feed your grandma And you would enjoy feeding to your family.
