City Supermarket - Supermarket in Irvington - 10 Mill Rd, USA

My experience was ok until I decided to buy me a bag for my groceries that I already bought. I said “Can I have a bag?” The lady says “52 cents” I go into my pocket and had nothing but Quarters. I gave the lady 75 cents. She takes it the drops it in the register the looks into the sky for about 5 seconds. Then hands me 3 cents. I say “ I gave you 75 cents. Then she repeats “It’s 52 cents.” Then I repeat “I gave you 75 cents.” The she says “You gave me 55 cents. Then I left because I refuse to waste time arguing with someone about 20 cents. But after leaving it really made me mad and I felt like I should have thrown the 3 pennies at her. This is why humans are getting replaced by machines everyday. Poor customer service

Depends on the day. Sometimes the employees (cashier's) are rude and unprofessional. However, the butchers and the fish mongers are always pleasant. They are extremely helpful.

This place has great produce, Jamaican patties and Jamaican ginger beer.

Great for West Indian food items. Seafood is pretty fresh.

My review will not be different from "The Super Fresh."

The price Point is better than stop and shop. And they have a meat and fish section where the cut it for you.

This store had a slump for a little while, but its got a whole new life. Great produce in quality and variety. Robust assortment of international seasonings and a really nice meat selection at fair prices. Processed American foods are more expensive though, I wouldn't do all of my shopping here.
