Met a friend for a party date with our sons. City play was clean, well kept and the areas weren't run down. They either keep up with the wear and tear from toddlers and young children or it's because the business is brand new. But Im hoping the former as even stuffys and sensory bins which would show dirt almost immediately were clean. While our boys played and had fun, the staff was dilligently cleaning and sanitizing. It looked like there was always someone walking cleaning and picking up areas as kids moved on. They kept a snack bar stocked for kiddos and kept lots of different varieties of toys for kids including the cutest fire outfits donated by Vancouver Fire Department! Through the chaos of dozens of children trying to play my 30 month old had a blast, wasn't pushed for toys, no spats with other children and over all had an amazing experience till it was time to go. We will be back!!

Took my 2 YO today and we had such a great time! There was so much to do and keep him busy with. We stayed for a few hours but easily could have been there a few more. The attention to detail the owners put in when creating the space really shows. The toys are all so fun and quality pieces, very imaginative and educational. The space is very open and inviting, lots of room to move around and for the kids to still run a little wild. The age ranges for the toys is very open too, I plan on coming back with my 4 YO also because she will have a blast also. The owner was so kind and helpful. There is a little cafe area in the back where you can purchase snacks and drinks, which is so convenient, I didn’t look at prices today but it was just easy things like squeeze pouches, juice boxes, perfect toddler stuff. We are looking forward to this being a regular place to visit!

Exactly what Vancouver needed! We visited City Play today for the first time this morning and are so happy to have this nearby. The owners did such an amazing job of utilizing the space to add all the different cute play areas. My kiddo especially loved the play structure, vets office and the sensory bin. I can definitely see us purchasing a play pass as we look forward to many visits in the future!

This place was great for my almost 2 year old. She had so much fun playing with everything. It was very clean, well maintained and so much to play with.

My 4 year old loved this place!! Cried when we had to leave. So many cool details. Great for pretend play/imagination— no screens! The staff is so nice and everything is squeaky clean. It’s a little pricy at $15 per kiddo but I thought it was definitely worth it. We will be back often!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! We very much needed this indoor play place in East Vancouver! We were so exhausted having to go across the bridge for fun indoor experiences! I love that there are areas for physical play (big blocks, legit indoor playground), areas for sensory play (I dislike having kinetic sand in my home so I am so stoked to find it there complete with construction cars etc!), and imaginative play (veterinarian office, grocery store, cafe, etc!). I also love that they rotate toys routinely (never the exact same experience! table top activities/games change etc). I love that they have all the games I would like (think Melissa&Doug/Montessori etc) but never quite have room for! There is also such fun unique toys (we love the pulley/basket system built in the playground, there's a parachute guy launcher thing, etc) I recommend getting the play pass- higher up front cost, but lowers each visit by $2.50! It is great option for if you have babysitters/grandparents/caretakers who need an idea of what to do with kiddos as kids can lead with play! I love this as an option for playdates because kids share easier when it's not their personal favorite toys in their room. I also feel like it's more relaxed than going to someone's home because I don't have to worry about my kids breaking non-kid things because everything is kid friendly! I love that the space is big enough for my kids to be immersed in their play, but not so big I cannot keep an eye on them! It's the perfect "play with multiple children without panicking" space Lastly, the owners are just amazing! You can tell they have little ones (uhm, an emergency diaper/wipes stash in the bathroom?!) and you can tell they really put SO much thought into this place!! I really feel like it was so safe and clean! I love sending my babysitters/family members with my kids because I know the staff is keeping a watchful eye and both adults/kids have a good time! The only thing I am sad about are the limited hours on the weekends, but that is mostly because they have birthday party options! So consider them next kiddo birthday party you have! Highly recommend 10/10! Go support this local awesome play space!

So much fun! Adorable, always clean, lots of sensory activities that are themed and always changing, staff is so friendly. I can’t say enough great things about this place. We had my sons birthday there as well and it was amazing.

WE LOVED this place and will definitely come back for my littles! We usually would go to play street in Hillsboro but it is just too far and my kids preferred this place a million times more ! they did not want to leave !! I’ve got a 5, 2 and under 1 year old! My sister who is 12 accompanied me to just help me with what she could! *free btw including myself bc of the two paying siblings! Even she thought it was a fun place! it’s very neat well organized they’ve got a sanitize station in what i’d place the toys my daughter would place in her mouth back and fourth and they were just so sweet about it ! Very kind people* The bathroom is very well organized for your littles has a smaller toilet seat option and i really appreciated that ! Changing station as well didn’t get to use it but in the past i would have appreciated it so much! luckily i had brought my own wipes and diapers ! but it can certainly be very useful for if you ran out or forget ! You can pay online and fill our survey all before you come in it’s very informative and well scripted and that helped me out so much because sometimes children are just talking and excited to get out there! So doing it all online was helpful ! I had my children put socks including myself before we left home (summer time) and we just walked in shower him my receipt and ready to play! All the sensory toys were awesome for my kids they really did enjoy the slide and just every room! By far the best place around !

I just ordered the three falafel patties as a snack, but I'll be back soon for more because damn those were amazing! They smelled soooo good before I even took them out. Also they're larger than the falafel patties at most other places I've been to.
