Attended @NewWestSymphony presentation of Brubeck to Beethoven in the Kavli Theater. Started with Ansel Adams: America. Next was Barber Adagio for Strings which included 35 young local musicians. Then, Beethoven Symphony No. 5. The music was excellent, however the venue is uninspiring and lacking personality. The stage and background are not at the quality level of the music.

Truly among my favorite venues to see a live show in Ventura County. Not super intimate but somehow the rest of the audience and staff make it feel that way. Sound is great too.

I love our local civic center. The theaters are nice and comfortable. There are restaurants within walking distance. The parking is now $15 and cc only. Don't rush to leave because the line of cars takes a while. I do wish they booked a bit more somewhat current musicians here.

We saw John Lodge, an original member of the legendary Moody Blues here. Big-time acts with a small town flavor.

This event venue is perfect for Broadway shows and music concerts. There is not a bad seat in the house. Staff is friendly and helpful. Parking is readily available in an adjacent parking structure.

Great local venue for everything from kids shows to concerts, plays to ballet, symphony, etc. So lucky to have this in Thousand Oaks! Definitely worth a visit if you are local and do not want to go into Los Angeles for a similar event.

We saw Ticket To Ride, a great Beatles revival band tonight. Make sure you sit up front for the best experience

Nice venue. Impossible to get out of even after a half full theatre. Too bad they don't have an after theatre refreshment area so you can wait it out with a cocktail. Plus the show was out early. Will think twice about attending another show there.
