The campground here at South Lake Tahoe is in a very nice and convenient location. It is very close to all the activities, shopping, and restaurants in South Lake Tahoe.
The campground is easy to get in and out of the main gate. This is a huge campground with many campsites in a few sections.
My parter and I recently spent 2 nights camping here. This campground is conveniently located, spacious, and pretty. The camp host was nice and helpful. The bathrooms (which have flushing toilets) where clean but missing seat covers and hand soap. This campground is surrounded by city so be aware that you'll hear city sounds. I would definitely stay here again!
Nice campgrounds even if it is in town. To bad that the dump station was closed for repairs. Otherwise would have stayed longer. Restrooms are clean and showers too.
DO NOT CAMP HERE! Especially if you have kids, and especially if you don't have an RV. There is a night club that blasts music after dark. My kids and I can't sleep. This isn't even camping! I can see the traffic light on the freeway from my campsite! Half the campsites are empty and it's obvious why. This is the worst campsite ever!!!
The park is beautiful. The site that I was assigned was unacceptable. I asked to be moved to another site. The staff was more than accommodating and snow blowed a new space for me. The manager became agitated and belligerent when he discovered that my 23 ft RV was in a space for a 40 footer. Even though they did not have a reservation to fill that space he told me that I would have to go back to the initial site or leave the campground. I chose to leave. I will not go back.
Nothing fancy about this place. 24 sites.||Pit toilets. And water from a pump.||The bathrooms were clean, and the water was cold, and good.||The campground was mostly quiet. The only generator I heard after 10 was the camp host.||The lake was down so a bit of a walk to the water. Wooded campsites mostly, and not too close together.
We stayed at this campground with our trailer for 1 week. We absolutely loved it. Awesome location, well maintained with hook-ups, very close to the city spots, right across from the beach and other activities.
Yes due to Covid situation their seasonal staff is not available and public restrooms were closed. But they communicated that well in advance.
We would love to come back, best wishes for upcoming Happy campers!
Had the worst experience. Never ever gonna come back here again. Sorry to say but the old folks run this place. We tried to check out but a little behind and they tried to lock our RV and not Allow us to take our Rv out doesn’t make sense. The treatment wasn’t professional at all. Never recommend or ever gonna come back to this place. There’s other better camp grounds to
Go to. Tried this place one time and never gonna come back. Only my wife and I stayed here and the old staff is not really friendly.
They need to fire them and rehire professional or trained attendance if they want to get returning customers. Good luck if you book this place.

Fallen Leaf Campground in Lake Tahoe is a serene haven amid pine trees. Each campsite has fire pit and picnic table. Restroom were clean. Spacious, well-maintained sites, proximity to lakes, and hiking trails make it a must-visit for nature enthusias
This campsite has over 400 sites, full hookups. They have 24-hour laundry and heated bathrooms with showers that are very clean. You'll love the location, in town, but only a few miles from the Lake.
They also have a swimming pool, playground, basket
Beautiful hike to Eagle Lake that took about 30 min after the bridge. This time of year there was snow and ice on the trail that made it slippery but was worth the quick trip up and back.
The hotel is new and beautiful. The rooms were extremely clean and well stocked, even the kitchen had everything we could potentially want! The bed was super comfortable, the heated floors in the bathroom were great.

The place is really nice, the water is crystal clear but very cold. It's worth it to pay the $5.00 fee to see this beautiful place. In the middle of it there's an old house, scary but beautiful.
The Mt. Tallac trail is an amazing trail to hike in Lake Tahoe. It isn't easy, about 4.5 miles from the trail head to the summit with about 3,300 feet of elevation gain. The second half of the trail is mostly all rock and is very steep in parts. The
Went with my daughter and husband and came from the heavenly line since the wait at the resort was 2 hours! They helped us right away and we were able to get all the equipment we needed in a reasonable time frame. The staff are super friendly and acc
Took this trail to go to Cascade Falls. It's flat for the first 5 mins or so and then becomes rocky and risky at the corners.
There is some construction work going on in the area so they have put up temporary boards marking the trail. Good job!

While entering the North Lake Tahoe area, the first thing you can see is Eagle falls streaming down the mountains towards Lake Tahoe. The Eagle falls originates from Eagle lake and culminates at Lake Tahoe. There is a trail to the Eagle Lake, but we
Very friendly customer service, and not to mention dog friendly, which we love. The beer is excellent and the brew master was very polite with us. I wish I had a chance to buy stickers of the brewery as I am a collector, but it just means I will have
Brunch was good. Parking was easy. Had a short wait. Chicken fried steak was a good ratio of breading to meat. Hash brown were crisp on the outside and fluffy inside. Coconut French toast was a good portion. Overall everyone was happy with what they
