The park’s concept is stunning. A thoughtful layout is appreciated, however, the cleanliness of this location falls short. I am not blaming the park, but more so, the park goers that fail to clean up after themselves. Just take it home with you if there’s no space left in the receptacles. As you can see, the animals are living in this trash, and this was me photographing the ones that were near the least amount of trash.
Oddly enough, someone was picking up a duckling out of the pond alcove area. Not sure what was happening there as a group started to gather round. Wouldn’t be shocked if this park’s allowed behaviors added to any complications of that duckling.
Overall, I see potential. Do what is right by the living animals, the veterans memorial, and honor the nextdoor graveyard by ensuring your park is clean of litter.
EDIT: I've seen other guys catch large catfish here. I'll have to use other gear to catch those!
Great park with water attractions near it! Nice fishing spot, though it doesn't seem to have a lot of bigger fish in it. Just some small perch near the docks. Some picnic areas, benches, grills, and public restrooms there too.
However, if you go during an event either at the park or the aquatic center, parking is limited. People park behind the parking spaces, near the curb, making it difficult to get out.
Peaceful and a good way to get away and out of the house. Me and baby went to go feed the ducks 🦆 it was a nice little experience. We walked around the walking route. Great place to clear your mind and restart your day or start your day.
Nice moderately clean park my kids loved seeing the ducks and turtles in the lake pond we will definitely be back also has very nice and spacious picnic areas with the tables we're clean but w ducks around no chance so bring a table cloth for sure lol!
We love this park! It's always so fun to walk and watch the ducks and turtles.
It's a cute place. Families enjoy gathering here for the water park, the ducks, or just family celebrations. Lots of trees and the veteran's memorial is clean. Fishing is also allowed here. The lake has some trash in it and bikes are not allowed on the path around the lake. Besides that, the city lake park is a nice spot with lots of shade.
Love this park. You can relax here, walk around and enjoy the scenery or fish There are ducks and geese. It’s a nice clean park.
My wife and I love this place. We come quite a lot for walking and for taking photos too. I was very disappointed seeing plastic bags and bottles in the lake. Also seeing people with branches bothering the birds and trying to take the turtles out of the lake just to take them home. We must protect this beautiful environment. There should be some warning signs about that. The Mesquite Veterans Memorial is beautiful. Congrats to the people who were involve in this memorial.
Very clean and nice accessible park. Great place for walking, jogging, and picnicking. Sometimes, there are ducks around the small pond. It is busy in the area during the week when school is letting out, so plan your visit early mornings, evenings,

This has been one of my favorite places to walk for years. Itâs definitely improved over the years with more parking and equipment. Itâs a very beautiful, relaxing setting. Sometimes Iâd come here to free my mind and look at the water. Itâs
Luara our cashier was super service minded which is hard to find, the chicken soup is a must when feeling under the weather, went around lunch time the wait time was not terrible, everything we got came out hot and fresh! Highly recommend
The food was great! I don't believe I ate anything processed, also the menu has plenty of choices even for vegan people, the seven mile latte was excellent! I arrived around 10:30am - 11am and it had just begun to get a little packed but there is ple
Love this place!!! I usually only go in to get pan dulce but I needed a last minute pink strawberry shortcake cake so I called that morning to ask if theyâd be able to make it and have it ready by the afternoon and the owner said yes!!!! She was so

Great sports bar atmosphere with a variety of menu options. This is one of those places that does many types of food really well, ex. Enjoyed the fish and chips, onion rings, and pizza.
Family friendly, with the August temps being so high, there haven't been many people at the pool, but it's actually pretty cool once you're in the water that means more space to swim around and more times being on the slides without the wait. Grea
