This was a well maintained property with an excellent set up for preparing your own meals. Nice clean room with a easy layout. We appreciated the owner's son who was manning the front desk- he is a pre-med student. Nice to have an elevator for our third floor room.

We needed a place to stay for the night at the last minute. I booked through Expedia and I made a mistake on the dates, they were more than accommodating and fixed the issue for me. The room was very comfortable and clean. The view was fantastic! There are so many food options nearby and a convenience store around the corner. We were very pleased with our stay! Thank you for your hospitality!

This place will rob you, even if it's not a lot of money, they rob you and they say they value you but they don't. They will put a bad label on your name and accuse you of things. My partner and I had to check in early because we were visiting Colorado with friends in another town sharing a air bnb, but we stayed one more extra day than them so we had to get a hotel. We had to check in early though because where we stayed with friends was an hour away and they had to be on their flight at 5:00am so we had to go to this hotel early. They were able to get us checked in early at 9:00am which was great, but apparently there is a $20.00 fee for that. I did not know that, they did not tell me there was. All they told me at check in was that there is a $80 deposit and I would get that back in 3 days. Understandable and perfectly fine with me. I called today to ask them about this $20 fee and the guy is saying that it is common sense that every hotel will have a early check in fee. Which is actually not true. Not all hotels charge you, some of them will actually do it complimentary just as long as they have something available. So I am being belittled as a customer whom this man is saying that they value, but clearly do not. I wouldn't have mind paying that $20 because we needed our room early, but they never told me I had to pay that at the time!! He sent me the receipt today and it shows I signed a receipt for the $20.00, so obviously I "acknowledged" this payment, but I thought what I was signing for was the deposit and just signing for the room because they NEVER informed me that I had to pay the $20.00. After he told me that I have to pay an $80.00 deposit fee, I had to sign on their electronic signing pad, which does not show you what you are paying for. Also, nowhere on the receipt does it say that I paid the $80.00, just the $20.00. So even though I apparently signed a receipt for the $20.00 fee, I NEVER even knew I was paying that because one, they did not tell me I had to, and two, I never got to see any receipt. Also, when he was printing out the receipt, he asked me if I wanted a copy, and I said yes. The machine malfunctioned and ripped it and was not able to print the receipt so he was not able to give me anything. I should've asked to take a picture of what they printed out for themselves. They are making you pay extra fees without you knowing that you even signed for them!! Also, this next part isn't a huge deal because they only charged me $2.50 for this, but they are charging me money for two towels that I apparently "destroyed". I did not destroy anything. They sent me a picture of the towels and you can clearly see there is barely anything on them, just light and small black marks which are from my makeup from washing my face!! That makeup on those towels will come off in the wash!! Even though it's only $2.50, I should not be getting charged for something so stupid and they are just putting a bad label on my name at this point. Seeing a lot of other reviews on here now about how they charged them money for destroying towels as well, when they were never destroyed is ridiculous and shows me that I am definitely not overreacting. This place does NOT value you like they say and they WILL steal your money, no matter how big or small the amount! Do NOT stay here and I will be suing them.

Great hotel and friendly staff but very cheap management I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and it's a great little hotel with basic things your need but clean and staff members at the front desk were very friendly. I always try to be considerate and since I was traveling solo I used the same towels for 4 days and didn't ask for new ones. I used one towel under the coffee make since it was dripping a bit and i checked out with no issues. after 2 days i noticed that I was charged $7.95 extra and when i called the hotel they said that it was because towel was soiled. and they charged me for new towel. I was so shocked that they couldn't wash towels and also pissed that I used the same towels to be considerate and save them and the earth energy. I would stay here again but you can bet that I would ask for new towels everyday and would let their coffee make drip on the counter. Again staff at the front desk were great, this cheap and shady management game, not so much

Pros - Stellar location close to Hwy 36 & Interstates. Plenty of food and such near by. Check in was easy and they offered recommendations of where to eat. Room was clean, bed was fine, shower worked well with great pressure. AC was solid. Always good parking. Less than a half a mile to light rail station to go downtown. Fridge, microwave, coffee maker in the room. TV worked. There isn't daily service and they tell you that. We were on the bottom floor and didn't hear noise from above. Mehs - Wifi was not swell at all and the extra pillow I asked for wasn't much. I'd stay here again.

Such a sweet Manager! She helped me find local spots for dinner, gave me a later checkout, and gave me some laundry detergent for running a wash. It's definitely a motel, so expectations should be realistic, but it got the job done and was clean and affordable. If you want to support a family business and need a no-frills place for a few nights, this is the spot to book!

We booked here because it had decent reviews on Expedia, but we would not stay again. The good: Equipped with fridge, microwave, coffee maker (all clean), Direct TV, close to light rail, great taco places nearby, good view of downtown, and fairly central location for getting around Denver metro. The bad: The A/C emitted the worst smell when it was running (like urine) and the inside was full of mold spores. When it was off, the room was musty/smoky. They used an Airwick scent as a failing attempt to cover the smell but only made it worse. Caulk in tub was black with mildew. Water pressure poor. Hard floors swept but dirty. Bed squeaky. Outside lights impossible to block out at night. The ugly: The manager tried to accuse us of soiling 2 of their towels and charged us an extra $13.50. The pics she sent were towels of a totally different style/color than what we had in our room. When I tried to tell her this, she insisted they were ours and that "they do this everyday so they know what they're doing." She tried to claim the timestamp on the pic dated Fri was additional proof until I reminded her that we checked out on Thurs. She backpedalled and said they didn't clean our room until the next day. Right ok. In the end, she agreed to refund the $13.50 but offered no accountability or apology. What an appalling way to run a business and treat your customers. There have been reviews with similar stories, so beware. I suggest taking pics of everything at check in and check out.

This place told me I was going to get my 75$ deposit back in 3-5 days. It has been 18 days since I stayed there. The guy on the phone said he submitted it when I did not receive it a Lady called me and told me she decided not to give me my deposit back and would be sending pictures of my room which I have not received. We were not even in the room as we checked in and spent most of our Vacation in the rocky mts. The guy assured me 4 times I would be getting my deposit. Make sure if you stay to leave a cash deposit so they can refund you when you check out. I will be filling a complaint with Colorado Attorney General's Office.
