City Center Motel - Featured Reviews (69)
This motel is too expensive one night $185 ,the for this price we could get a better one , but i had no option at that moment , poor costumer service they not even provide shampoo , the shower really small, won't be there again and i won't recommend it,
Oh lordy! Where to begin....well if ZERO stars was an option that would be best for this dump posing as a motel.
Front desk check in=rude, unhappy, middle aged female living to project her misery onto anyone in her path! Always a good time (sarcastic tone)
The room=graffiti on all the furniture including the inside wall of the shower (wow someone had too much time on their hands). I felt left out that I didn't have a tag to contribute 😔
Carpet looked as if someone had a mud wrestling match, rebuilt a motorcycle and butchered a pig (not necessarily in that order).
Bathroom was eh so-so until I discovered a small baggie of drugs left behind. Gloves mandatory! Oh yes and the sink was clogged of course! When asked if maintenance could clear the drain, I was accused of causing the clog. I adamantly denied as I had just checked in but to no avail! I was asked if the toothbrush they fished out of the drain was mine!!! The nerve of some people! You know the kind, can't accept that they are running a slummy motel for which "maintenance" s a foreign word.
The bed=well..... just best not to look closely. The pillow was just a few lumps of filling inside a pillow case and the mattress cover had mildew and stains included at no cost
Heating/a/c unit=positive note, it worked but the debris and filthy filter left sooo much to be desired, that I longed for the days of COVID cleaning requirements!
Light fixture had one of three bulbs with one socket that appear to have almost caught fire
Security on door was a flimsy cabinet latch hastily installed with no sense of security
Save your money because it's cleaner & safer to stay in your vehicle. Oh yes and if you do decide to fork the $100 for the room plus $100 deposit, plan on having no visitors as this is the excuse they will use in order to fleece your $100 deposit. Shady and low business practices. SMH it's difficult to understand how these types of us businesses survive. Zero pride in their property and absolutely no respect to their patrons. ZERO stars
Dude in the office was very rude. Be prepared for a cash deposit. Rooms pictured isn't what your gonna get. It wasn't worth the $120 plus $25 deposit. I've had some bad rooms from time to time but this tops the cake in bad rooms
Nasty hotel roaches smells bad and the lady took my money and never refunded while told I was this place needs to be shut down
The room smelled awful of cigarette smoke. It was a cold rainy night and we had to sleep with the window open and heater cranked up. When talking to the manager the next day, other than an apology, she said it was too late to offer any kind of refund. For $85 a night I'd expect a clean fresh room.
The rooms were way below par.
No screen on the windows, furniture was alley picked, TV cable didnt work, elec outlets were open & exposed..no latch on the inside of the door..
The place cant accommodate parking for all its customers..
A/C did blow cold & the shower was hot
They would not photocopy a second pay slip. No mini-frig or microwave in room as they told us over the phone. Bed had springs poking at your back. For the price just stay at Motel 6 and have a better stay.
Seriously it's such an underrated motel however don't anybody even think for a minute that all these other 5 star motel/hotel ($) Holiday Inn places are going to remain by themselves cause you all need to move on over a little cause here comes the City Center
