Circus Circus Hotel and Casino - Featured Reviews (74655)
I booked this hotel before I read any of the reviews but still had a basic understanding of what I was getting myself into. I read a lot of negative comments and was nervous to stay at the hotel, but it was GREAT! I stayed in room 11841 and it had a decent view of the mountains, was clean, and certainly nothing to complain about. Definitely got more than I paid for!
PS: Vegas in August is hot... VERY HOT
We recently visited the Circus Hotel and Casino, and while we didn't stay here, we enjoyed exploring the property. The best part? Free parking!
The installation itself looks a bit dated, but that didn't deter us from having a good time. We came to walk around and check out the attractions, and we were impressed by the fantastic theme park for kids. It's spacious, well-maintained, and reasonably priced, with tickets ranging from $30 to $50 depending on the child's height. The arcade games are also a lot of fun!
We also discovered that the souvenir shops offered surprisingly good prices compared to other tourist attractions we've visited. You can find some great deals without breaking the bank.
While we didn't try the hotel or casino amenities, we had a great time exploring the public areas. If you're looking for a family-friendly spot with plenty of entertainment options, Circus Hotel and Casino is worth a visit.
Pros:_Free parking, great theme park for kids, affordable prices, fun arcade games, reasonably priced souvenirs
Cons:Installation looks old and dated
Rooms are a nice size, the bed however feels dated, and it's a very sparse room. Nothing fancy but the location is wonderful. Right near my event and there is an amusement park in the hotel. That's pretty cool
Our recent visit to the Circus Buffet was an adventure filled with color, excitement, and a mix of culinary surprises.
🎪🍽️ While the vibrant setting and lively atmosphere of the Circus Buffet delighted our senses, the flavors on our plates did not quite meet our expectations. As a family of eight, we were looking forward to a feast that would satisfy both our appetites and our taste preferences. However, the $216 bill for a meal that left us wanting more was a tad disappointing.
Even the kids, usually more forgiving diners, found themselves taking only a few bites of their meals, unable to fully enjoy what was presented to them.
It's disheartening to see young ones pay a premium for a dining experience that falls short of their expectations. In the spirit of constructive feedback, we believe that children should not have to pay for a meal they did not enjoy
Our experience highlights the importance of ensuring that every guest, regardless of age, leaves a dining establishment with a smile on their face and a satisfied stomach. While the Circus Buffet offered a fun and festive setting, we hope that they consider revising their menu offerings to cater to a wider range of palates and preferences. Dining out should be an experience that delights all the senses, and we look forward to seeing improvements that will make future visits more memorable and enjoyable for families like ours.

We had a nice stay here, staff was really nice. My kid had an accident in the bathroom that I could not clean with the means I had. I called for help and apologized, the nice lady on the phone told me it was fine (she had little kids too) and understood that accidents can happen. Help came really quick. The interior is slightly dated, but the price for the stay is good and it's easy to get to the other places on the strip and Fremont street. Food is expensive, like anywhere else on the strip really.
The room prices a very low but you pay a large resort fee, which you may or may not use. The hotel is very old and the carpet and structure shows it. Most of the employees were very nice and helpful but there is always that one and there was one that was not nice or helpful. She said she was over worked and had other things to do than give me a players card. Which was her job when the players rewards location is closed.
The location is a little further down the strip but the walking was nice and the ride shares were always handy.
The buffet was closed all week and only opened as I was leaving so I didn't get to try the food. If you're a gambler I can't say the slots were hot for me but the old fashioned coin slots were not to bad. They don't tell you what their pay out % are except for the coin slots. I asked at every casino that I visited and they all told me except Circus circus.
Over all it was not a totally bad experience but it is a little to old and worn out of a hotel for my likes. I don't think I will be returning but the price was better than some of the much newer hotels on the strip so who knows.
**ROACHES** This is truly the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. We were located in the Manor buildings that are in the parking lot of the water park/pool area, so we didn’t get a room in the main hotel/tower. The room and hallways both had big roaches! My husband killed one on the wall next to our bed. If that wasn’t enough, the smell is horrible, the rooms are in desperate need of updates. The rooms are not cleaned daily, only on check out. And you have to beg for extra towels and toilet paper. We are pretty low maintenance people and have traveled economy, so it’s not a matter of having expensive taste. This place lacks the bare minimum and doesn’t care about its customers. This building looks like it was built in the 1960s and never updated anything ever. They add a large ‘resort fee’ that pretty much adds up to a stay at a nicer hotel off the strip which is what we will do the next time. Staying on the strip is overpriced anyway, and really not worth it anymore.
