Circle Z Ranch - Ranch in Patagonia - 1476 AZ-82, USA

We visited Circle Z for the second time this year. This ranch is the ultimate dude ranch experience. Family owned, the staff is excellent, the food excellent, the accommodations are very comfortable and the riding experience is absolutely amazing. All levels of riders during our stay were accommodated for their skill level, their desired experience and group preferences. The horses are well trained, understand their job, the territory, and the rider on their back.|The riding locations are beautiful, the wranglers are highly skilled and activities are super fun. One of the greatest parts around this experience is the camaraderie among guests and friendships formed. |We have already booked again for next year!

Everything about our stay at Circle Z was wonderful. The staff made us feel like we were part of the Circle Z family. The horses were the best and we each were assigned a horse for the week that was perfect for our riding skills from experienced horsewomen to "I haven't ridden a horse in 30 years". Accommodations were lovely with daily thorough room service, meals were delicious and tailored to special dietetic needs. Our group of 7, ages 16 to 80 all had a fabulous time. I highly recommend Circle Z Ranch for a fantastic Dude Ranch experience.

I spent a week at Circle Z Ranch in January of 2024 and it was a great experience! There is a variety of trails from simple to challenging and you can ride as much as you want. My horse was awesome - he was so careful to take care of me that I didn't have a care in the world as I rode. It was different from my other ranch experiences in that most of the riding was on the trails adjacent to the ranch, but there are a LOT of trails to experience. My 'casita' was homey and the bed was very comfortable. I have already put down my deposit for next year.

This is my 2nd year at Circle Z and I have already reserved my spot for 2025. The entire staff including the owner makes you feel like you are part of the family. The cabins/rooms are comfortable, the food is never ending. They are VERY aware of dietary issues and will always have something for special diets. Vegan, Vegitarian, Dairy Free, Gluten Free, Nut allergy....we had them all during my week there.||The horses!!! WOW-- no matter what level rider they will have a horse for you. The horses are well kept, groomed nicely and well mannered. Some of the trails are rocky and the horses will get you through safely.||I go Adult week but I image kids would have a good time here too. Dress for the weather. 2023 was in the 70's, this year had a high of 60. The riding is gorgeous!!

The wranglers are so accommodating, they look out for you, making sure you enjoy each and every ride.||You will be served three delicious meals each day, you will enjoy nightly cantina, you will sleep in a luxurious cottage, and you will ride the most accommodating horses on the planet. ||Since finding this ranch, I have been here every year, and can hardly wait to return in Dec 2024. Jenny and George Lorta go the extra mile to ensure you enjoy your stay. Miko Lorta matches you with the perfect mount and tack. Diana is a wonderful hostess, she keeps things lively throughout the stay.||

We really enjoyed our time at Circle Z. The entire staff was very friendly and welcoming. Cuisine was outstanding. The Wranglers were personable and professional with very special thanks to Alice, who guided us through our rides with grace and ease. Many, many thanks to her! Also want to recognize Kelly, who really went above and beyond with her loping lessons on the trail. Much appreciated.

I highly recommend this amazing ranch. Seriously, the food was top of the line, I liked absolutely everything, there was a nice variety everyday, every meal had plenty to choose from, the horses were the best I’ve ever seen, and I am a guide soI kind of know what good horses look like!. All of the staff from the house keepers to the guides to the kitchen staff to the management were so kind and so helpful. The rooms were spacious and authentic. These people go above and beyond I would highly recommend going to Circle Z ranch

I go to many guest ranches each year and this is one of my favorites. Well taken care of horses, friendly staff, great accommodations and food and some great riding. The ranch also attracts a lot of other nice guests who become friends. I also felt very comfortable going solo my first year.
