Best country fried steak I’ve ever had and topped with yummy white gravy. So tender it can be cut with a fork! Friendly and helpful staff. Great local vibe. Building could use some updating. The bathroom especially but it was clean and that’s important.

Been going here since I was a kid, over 35 years. The steak I got today was perfect, cooked just right and the texture was exactly what it should have been. Just like everywhere around, they are short staffed, but the one waiter and one waitress running the entire dining hall and the one teenager behind the counter taking orders were all very friendly. I've never had an issue with the service there, always top notch. If ever I've had an issue with the food, they made it right.

Great steaks at a great price. Service was awesome and very fast. The place is kept clean for as many customers walk in. Don't forget the cobbler and ice cream for dessert. We will see you folks next time.

We enjoyed our meal at the Circle J Family Steak House. For a first time visitor, this place is a bit confusing. We thought it was a sit-down restaurant, but it's more like a cafeteria style place. We waited outside for 10 minutes. Once inside we felt rushed to order from the menu as seen in my photos. Inside is loud and chaotic at times. You could tell their are many regular customers here. They helped us figure out the ordering process and what to do with our tickets after we ordered.

Been driving by this place a bunch of times but finally decided to stop. I assumed it was a high end steak house so that is why I avoided. It is more a sizzler style eating set up with a salad bar. The food is totally affordable and delicious. We got a huge baked potato with tons of creamy butter. I will definitely be going here whenever I get the craving for steak.

My family and I stumbled on this restaurant after a busy day of shopping downtown Blue Ridge. We all found something delicious to eat from sirloin steak, fried catfish, cheeseburger, ribeye sandwich, and my vegetarian daughter was super happy with her gigantic baked potato and salad bar. Prices were very reasonable and the service was fast and attentive. So happy we found this hidden gem!

This place is pure nostalgia. If you grew up going to Ryan's Steakhouse or places similar. This place is for you. It's nothing fancy but the prices are good the steaks are tasty and the salad bar and dessert is wonderful. Always well decorated for Christmas. This is the perfect place if you want to get out of the hoity-toity hustle and bustle of downtown Blue Ridge. Just a great place for a good family dinner. We will always have this on our list of places to go when we visit.

Very delicious food and friendly staff. Loved the marinated chicken breast, ranch dressing, beef tips and mushroom gravy, ice cream and chocolate pudding. I will go back for sure. Yum. 😋
