Great Mexican restaurant in the heart of Lexington and close to student apartments. The prices were very reasonable and the portion sizes were huge! Not sure if we would have eaten here without recommendations from UK students who have eaten (and enjoyed many frozen margaritas) here many times, and we are so glad we did!

First I will say, the location is nice, old style, friendly staff but now for the kicker my first time here. What I ordered was correct but was cold enough to not even melt the cheese on the burrito as seen in the picture. now as I inspected my food and saw my friends food, cold, all cold and looked like someone microwaved the food or it was old food as the color on others food was dull, asked to see if they would throw it back on the grill but was told it would be microwaved so I declined that, asked for a brownie, which is $5 but $6 IF you add icecream to the order. Well, I got charged as IF I got icecream anyway as seen on the check......I Will not recommend this location nor will I come back, the only thing I see they got going are the waiters, great people. I do hope however that they either improve or do better after what I had experienced, I never like to hope for a restaurant to fail purposely, so if your still reading this give it about a month for them to do so from this review then check them out to see if it has!

Server and other people who work there are great, attentive, as far as I could tell. This was our first time here. Food was mediocre at best. Chips were dough-like and tasteless. SALSA for the chips was extraordinary with enough kick to be interesting. One of us had grilled fish tacos, and the fish was almost raw, but we'd had a long day and he didn't feel like asking them to re-grill what obviously they did not grill in the first place. I had a vegetarian quesadilla and it was okay, but nothing special and very small, like a 10" tortilla folded. There was a 2-fer on margaritas, so we both got skinny ones on the rocks - worst we've ever had. The only shining star was our server ARTURO, who was amazing and attentive. He did come back to check if we liked our food, and we both said it was fine. So truth-be-told, we did not give the kitchen a chance to fix anything. I doubt we will come back, just because there are so many other Mexican restaurants to try ...

I had the pleasure of being served by Jonathan at the Mexican restaurant, and I must say, he truly made our dining experience exceptional. From the moment we walked in, his warm and friendly demeanor set the tone for the evening. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and was able to provide excellent recommendations. Not only did Jonathan excel in his service, but he also ensured that our drinks were always filled and that our food arrived promptly. Came in on a sunday night and had so much fun!!! The food was great, the timing was good, and the servers were so nice. Alejandra was awesome and I will definitely come back.

The location,food,music, and customer service was amazing u must point out one server named Jonathan. He has set the definition of customer service. He was so nice and helped us with anything we needed. When suddenly a car busted through and ran me over he brought me back to life. I can’t thank him enough. I will definitely be back.

The waiter was rude, it took him 15 minutes to get to the table. It took our drinks forever to come out (and they were wrong). Our food came out wrong and when we said something about the food being wrong, the waiter told us that we never ordered the way we said we did. He never once came back to check on us and we had to ask the manager for more drinks which also came out wrong. We got our checks (keep in mind this is a table of 4) and were charged an automatic gratuity fee. I understand this for large parties. But for a table of 4 that had terrible service? Ridiculous. Our checks were split 2 and 2 and we ended up paying $80 for two drinks each and very subpar, incorrect food. Left extremely unhappy (not that any of the staff cared) absolutely would not recommend. Would’ve rather had Taco Bell.
