Ciao Pizza & Italian - Pizza restaurant in Mebane - 1343 Mebane Oaks Rd, USA

I have eaten here in the past, but this is my first time giving it a review. I ordered a pepperoni and mushroom pizza for take out. It is hard to find decent New York style pizza around here, so I was hoping this would come close. The pizza came out hot and fresh. The undercarriage was decent and the crust had a decent chew to it. The pizza was a little floppy due to the overly greasy cheese that soaks into the crust rather quickly. The sauce had pretty good flavor as well as the mushrooms and pepperoni. Overall, the pizza was good, but not great and had decent flavor. I would order it again.

Pepperoni pizza is a 10! My seven-year-old says it's a 20! It's very New York, thin but not crackery, crispy and chewy, the sauce is just right, tart and not too sweet, the amount of cheese is just right, and it strings! "I FAINTED because it's so good," she says. Pizza isn't the only thing they do, there are sandwiches and pasta dishes, we also really like the shrimp scampi, which is not on the menu. They do a busy take out too, butb then I suppose everybody does since COVID.

Everyone there was smiling while enjoying the food and talking amongst each other. The owner greeted us while working in the kitchen. The atmosphere and service alone is enough to bring you back!

Stopped here on our way home from vacation and it was excellent. It was an unplanned stop that will now be a regular one every year! Service was wonderful, our server was so kind to us and our 2 toddlers. The food was absolutely amazing. One of the best cheesesteaks I've ever had and the kids ate every bite of the pizza. Thank you! We will be back!

First time here and it was a great experience. The food was perfect. Had the Wings and they were finger licking good. Pizza and a Ciao Chicken sub all were delicious. I’ll definitely be back for some more wings. Love the sauce on them and the sweet tea was good too. Service was great with friendly staff.

We came in for hurried lunch with a big group, and the service could not have been for warm and helpful. The food was good and nourishing, and the prices very reasonable! Extra thanks to the owner (or manager?) who made us feel welcome in Spanish and the very nice waitress who looked after us.

Ciao Pizza is definitely in contention for the best pizza in Mebane. It's probably the best tasting pizza, but you're going to pay a little more for it. Their other items like sandwiches are really tasty too. The staff is always super friendly, and it's a fun casual place to grab a meal. I've been eating here for years and will continue to.

A great experience at an authentic Italian restaurant. If I would have went by looks I wouldn’t have expected as such. Service was great from start to finish even though it was only one server. The owner seems to be involved and inviting. The food was good and ingredients were fresh. We will definitely be back.
