Very very very fun. Took my 3 kids here 7-12. They all enjoyed it very much. I (39, 230lbs) climbed up it and slid down the slide but decided not to go back up. It was a lot of fun. Didn't see many ladders. The park is really beautiful. Great view of the town from the top. Bring some water and food and you'll get a good 2 hours out of this place. If you bring bathing suits you can get some more time!
More difficult than expected and don’t use the long chutes if you have claustrophobia! Nice playground though and the children really enjoyed it. Saw the Ranger go under the bridge also.
It's a big park. My kids make me stop here if we go through Houghton. (And they are teens.) Do you see the heart in the clouds? (Pic)
Crazy fun and cool park with the best playground equipment. Tons of options for rentals and ice cream.
Excellent place for the kids to spend time. They loved it. It's about 10 time bigger than a typical park play structure with a couple of really big slides. It is on the waterfront with pretty view of Hancock city and the river. There is a boat rental facility as well.
Absolutely amazing place! So much family fun to be had. The playground is amazing, there is a beautiful Sandy Beach to play at, and tons of rental activity potential (kayak, sup, canoe). Great little pitstop and convenient location!
Super fun park with a beautiful view and unique slides! Still as fun today for our kids as it was 5 years ago!
Very fun park, even as a college student the park was still fun to play on and go down the long slides
Great park with free parking. Hung out for awhile, finding shady picnic tables about. Lots of activities and kids enjoying themselves. We especially liked the ice cream and slowing us to try a taste before buying a cup! Delicious!!
The skatepark is very nice. The pavilion at the park is great for picnics. There are also coin operated showers that are open during summer and early fall. These are great if you are camping in the area.

Got an idea to come here from a Pure Michigan article. Perfect beach to go for sunset. Sand is dark tiny stones. Water gets deep very quickly. You can have a walk on the wave breaker. Many people come here to make fires on the beach in the evenings.
Best burrito within 100 miles! The chili chocolate cake, layered with pistachio cheesecake, is absolutely incredible! If you want to try the cake, be sure to stop by earlier in the day as it's not unusual for them to run out in the evening!
This is one of the three visitor centers for Isle Royale and the only one not on the island. If you find yourself waiting for a boat or plane, this is a great place to burn some time and plan your trip so that you don't need to spend much time island
A beautifully renovated Hampton property with very friendly staff, a stunning view of greenery and the water, and convenient location. My only complaint was that I forgot to bring a sleeping mask and there were no blackout curtains. I highly recomme
What a great place â a really warm and inviting cafe. Excellent barista and OUTSTANDING coffee drinks with homemade flavoring syrups (I had the vanilla bean, and it was delicious without being cloying.) Plus they had the attached photo posted in th
We loved our meal at the Den. 5 stars highly recommend. The Brussel sprouts were out of this world. My husband got the beast burger and said it was amazing. I ordered the Nordic chicken and it was perfect. Unique tasty menu and excellent service. We
This place is legit! I ordered an Americano. Thatâs my go to drink when I order takeout coffee. I was wide awake all day and up until 4 AM. No regrets.
Almost everything during my stay was excellent! Only reason I subtracted a star was due to the Sauna being out of service and not being informed prior. If I could only deduct half a star for that I would. Grounds nice & maintained. Adequate parking.
We stayed here October 2023 for a family trip to the Keweenaw. The hotel was great - exactly what we expected. The rooms, hallways, lobby, breakfast area and pool area were all clean and well maintained. The front desk staff was helpful and served
