This is a very small place run by two grandmas. Don't expect some fast, talkative service. They take their time and it feels like you're at their house. Their Korean knife-cut noodles and cold soy milk noodles were really good. The dumplings were decent; I did wish for more filling in some of them.
All in all, it was well worth the visit. Might return!
Really good black bean Kong-guksu. Made to order, huge portion, and strong soybean flavor accentuated by nutty sesame. I also think the kimchi was really great--definitely on the saltier side, but that complimented the more mild-tasting dish I ordered. Very friendly service too.
Just left this restaurant, and I am so happy we decided to stop in! Two amazing ladies working here, they realized we didn’t speak Korean and did their best to explain the food and menus to us. The whole experience was like eating with family! And the noodles are soooo good, and you get a huge bowl! I cannot recommend this place enough 😁
FYI: this restaurant is undergoing a change in management. We wanted to come on Jan 21, 2023 but it was closed because of that. Apparently they will reopen "soon".
Otherwise, heard great things about this place!
Can a place be too cozy and family style???
You decide. The food is great and really authentic. Metered parking. Prices are good. They have been here a long time. I would say over 35 years.
The place is small, but we always manage to find a table. We've been here about 3-4 times; and everytime, we have left satisfied. If you like noodles and can afford the flour based, and high in carbs deliciousness, try it out!
They had a management change 2 years ago. I cannot forget how good it was before. To me, this place used to be the king of Bajirak Kalguksu 바지락 칼국수 and had a very decent Samgyetang 삼계탕. But now it is just a mediocre noodle place. First I noticed we were the only customer at 6:30 pm Thursday, uh-oh. All side dishes did not meet expectation. I would think everyone would agree that kimchi is crucial to Kalguksu place. Broth was a bit run down in Kalguksu, but I liked the Samgyetang broth, and it is the best feature of this place. It does carry strong smell of boiled chicken, which I like but many don't, especially ladies. The big problem with the Samgyetang was that the chicken was overcooked and brittle. Potato and Korean zucchini in Kalguksu were paper thin, but the noodle itself was good. The clams were cheaper kind, and it was just normal portion, not the heaping portion I still remember from 2 years ago.
I wanted to come back but is now a different restaurant. Does anybody know what happened and where did they go?
Went here for a get together with my girlfriends and we were not disappointed!! The food was amazing! We ordered Combo 2 which is enough for 4-5 people. Everything is good â wings, sticky rice, fish cake soup, clam pasta, fries, side of salad and g
Great drinks and food! All dishes we ordered were amazing. Highly recommend the ì¤ë í (Fish Cake Soup), ì¡°ê°í (Clam Soup), ì¹ì¦ ë¶ë (Spicy Chicken with Mozzarella Cheese), and ê¹ì¹ì (Kimchi pancake).
Chefâs tip: after eating most

First time in a Korean bbq restaurant. It was so nice. I don't regret it. The food is fresh, and around 70% of what we got was fresh veggies. I really enjoyed my time there. Thank you to the team and the management.
They put some magical crack dust in their food. So good and so addicting.
We always get the skewers, cucumber salad of course, mala shanguo (A MUST), and cold noodle naengmyun, sweet and sour pork (pro tip if youâre Korean, ask for soy sauce and vi
Great carom billiard room.. they also have pocket billiard tables.. it was full at noon on Friday.. $10.00 / hour to play... If you play 3 cushion billiards, get there at 11:00 AM when it opens... 5 star rating..

So happy that my boyfriend and I got to try this new bakery today. Such a great find! It's usually hard for me to like a pastry and I was skeptical at first. However, I was in love at first bite! The staffs are also very friendly. I had a small feedb
I would definitely go back for the bingsoo. We ordered the regular size and it was huge and yummy. Pasta was good but portion was small. Overall it was decent experience. Must try the bingsoo from this place.
The flavors were very authentic like the one in Korea. The curry sauce was so good so I would recommend picking up one and trying it. If you have a decent size group, I would recommend getting a huge Tteokbokki bowl and share. There is 4 levels of sp
The food was perfect! They gave a lot of small plates like kimchi, radish, fish cake, broccoli and etc. which is what I love when I come to a Korean bbq. We got the Small Beef Combo which was ENOUGH to feed both me and my gf. It is definitely worth t
