Me and family are visiting fl and this places was my first stop. I will highly recommend, the server Chloe was awesome. She was asking us every minute If we were ok, or if need something. Food 5 starts plus, atmosphere 5 plus starts and services 5 plus starts. Love it!
I got DoorDash and the food was perfect. Everything I ordered is vegetarian for anyone looking for veg options. Highly recommend this restaurant. I got the Enchiladas rancheras, spinach quesadillas (subbed mushrooms for bell peppers), side of pico de gallo, guacamole and chips and salsa.
Everything was fresh and good quality. I’m honestly obsessed with their pico de gallo. I wish they would sell containers of it because it’s so good. The quesadilla and enchiladas were so good and flavorful. The chips and salsa were also good. I like that the chips weren’t greasy like some places. The salsa has a chipotle flavor and is almost like a thick purée. It tastes good flavor wise, just not my personal preference as I like the more traditional tomato type salsa.
Chula's is a weekly go-to for my husband and I. The atmosphere is inviting, the food is to die for and I absolutely love each and every one of the staff. Their chips and salsa is a bit different every time as they make it in house, but always delicious.
My personal favorite entrée to get is actually the chicken nacho's al carbon appetizer, though the chicken fajitas, tacos de carne Asada and quesadillas are also delicious.
Make sure you request some of their hot sauces. I personally like the their house hot sauce, but its always a toss up between that and the sauce that comes with the Carne Asada tacos which is an absolutely delicious chipotle flavored sauce with a bit of a kick.
As for desserts I'd recommend trying the Sopapilla or the Flan 🤤
Very disappointing. Steak was the worst we have ever had, unfortunately. Also, the tacos are single tortilla and fall apart instantly. Worst tacos I have ever had, as well. That being said I'm still giving this place a 3 because the waiter was awesome, the place was clean and the rest of the food/drink was decent. The Coronita, chips and salsa, queso and rice and beans were acceptable. We drove from Odessa where we have very good places close by, so this was just a disappointing experience. With a tip it was still over $50 which is insane for what we had. I think management should spend some time improving.
Great place, will go again…the food did take a little to come out but it was a busy that night. The food was worth the wait though. And our server Chloe was amazing.
Despite being part of a strip mall, the decorations were cute, and the place was clean and the service was great. Margaritas were yummy.
The food was sadly not that great. Burrito Grande was small, mostly rice and beans, didn't have much beef and a swizzle of sour cream, which was a nice presentation but the whole dish was lacking flavor. My cheese enchiladas were not melted, and very skimpy on the sauce too. Beans were dry with no flavor. The rice was perfect. See photo.
I would recommend this restaurant for happy hour drinks and tortilla chips with good salsa.
Stopped here on a whim. Excellent authentic Mexican food! Ordered takeout, but I sat at the bar and soaked up the atmosphere while we waited. Nice ambiance, bartender/server was super nice and entertaining. Loved the music 🎶 in the background. I ordered the burrito grande with pulled pork! I would def. Go here again.
The staff is always so accommodating and friendly! Even on a busy night, my partner and I had no issue finding seating and having our order taken and filled. Honestly Chloe is one of the hardest working servers I’ve ever met (having regularly frequented many restaurants) and never fails to go the distance for service. I have been impressed with all of the staff though! The food is so good! The only thing that could be better is the prices.
