Food was great but service was strange. But the food is always amazing. I felt a bit neglected for some reason I don’t want to get into detail or feel their was a bias against me, but I have to review in general. 5 ***** stars for the food. 2 ** stars for the treatment. Oysters okay, but Ribeye, Idaho Potatoes and Creamy Spinach Amazing! Try it you won’t regret it. Oh and the Spicy Apple Prosecco Great!

Stopped here for a light fare & wasn’t disappointed! The bar area has a nice sitting area & a rip roaring fireplace for those chilly nights! Service was great as was the calamari, lettuce wedge with chucks of blue cheese the size of a nickel! You won’t be sorry if you sop here.

Best salad bar anywhere! If you haven't enjoyed a fine meal here yet, you should. The back room on left with huge fireplace is especially cozy. There's amazing big fish tanks in middle of restaurant, too!

Stopped by here on our way to Boston. The interior of the restaurant was cozy, had a rustic barn feel to it. My boyfriend and I both got the NY strip and were not really impressed. It was served on a big plate with just a piece of steak on it, nothing else, (if you're used to how places like Texas Roadhouse brings out the steak) and not in an artistic or pretty way either. The steak itself was very bland. We both ordered medium rare but got more rare. We chose a side of pasta marinara which was just a plate of spaghetti also very flavorless. Most the servers on the night we went seemed like highschool girls who definitely didn't care much about service. The only nice thing about this place was the salad bar and fries! Maybe this is more of whay the locals prefer but i would recommend going to another streakhouse if you're in the area.

This is my kind of place. My mother and I stopped here for a late lunch this past Saturday afternoon. I stumbled across this establishment a few months ago when I was looking for possible Thanksgiving Eve locations, and while this didn't "win" on that particular day, it was still on my radar. As we were being led through the restaurant to our table, I remarked that this felt like the steakhouse cousin of a Pizza Hut, which I absolutely meant as a compliment. It's very comfortable, with a dark, woody interior that I typically associate with a place from the 70s or 80s that your grandparents loved back in the day. (I say this as a geriatric Oregon Trail millennial that spent many an hour watching old school Nickelodeon in a wood-paneled basement.) So while I suspect a lot of interior updates...haven't happened in decades, if ever, some places can thrive in their time warps and this is certainly one of them. I wasn't paying or driving in the near term, so I opted for a vanilla Moscow Mule to whet the palate. Pretty tasty, but difficult to discern much of a vanilla taste. I'd probably venture further into the cocktail menu next time. I also wasn't in a red meat state of mind (and yet I went into a steakhouse; I know) and went with the Baked Stuffed Scrod entrée, which had crabmeat inside, along with a baked potato. It definitely hit the spot. My biggest potential issue with crabmeat is that it's going to have a bunch of other crunchy stuff in it like celery and onions, but if they were hanging out in there I didn't notice. Good texture/consistency. Scrod isn't necessarily the most flavorful fish (probably not a coincidence they stuffed it), but it's a perfectly fine complement to other items, which is what they did here. It was swimming in a LITTLE too much of its juices, unnecessarily dampening the bottom of the fish, but still a solid contributor. The service was okay. Our waiter was pleasant but there were a few small items that slipped through the cracks. For instance, I asked for a water with my mule (stay hydrated, kids, or at least make a valiant attempt to do so), and didn't get it. I had to procure one from a subsequent server who came by with the food. Since mules are basically glorified albeit naughty Ginger Ales, it wasn't the biggest deal in the world. I don't recall having to wait a particularly long/noticeable time for any of the ordered items, either. This may end up being the Thanksgiving Eve destination in 2023 - low-key, comfortable environment with legit food. And as a bonus, they seem to have a chocolate truffle station at the front? This checks off an awful lot of boxes.

First time here and I really enjoyed the relaxed family atmosphere. Ordered steak with rice and added salad bar. I thought the salad bar was was excellent and also enjoyed the fresh baked breads. This place is much better than your normal “chain” restaurant and will definitely return. Overall great value and high quality.

It was our first time at this place. I loved the service, and food was not bad. Especially, I liked the interior. They have a good choice. Thank you guys!

Chuck's was a great find! It was conveniently right next to our hotel and we stopped in for lunch. We loved the food, the staff, and the atmosphere so much that we went back for dinner, too.
