Chuck's Place - Bar & grill in Manteca - 1447 Historical Plaza Way, USA

Wow! I got the tri tip sandwich with garlic fries... it was delicious! And wasn't messy just fresh and hot!! just what I needed!! Plus its a bar so... let's have a yummy ol time.

Everything we ordered was as described and delicious. We had an unusual 45 minutes wait added between appetizers and meal, but there are darts, pool tables, a unique air hockey table, and arcade games. Wait staff were all nice, helpful, friendly girls. As far as eating in a sit down restaurant goes, the atmosphere is actually a loud sports bar. People were watching the game and yelling. Still, Kids are allowed until after 9pm weekends. Recommend sidewinder fries.

Had the ghost burger and wow. Not hot at all in my opinion but delicious. Beer was nice and cold. Nice variety of different beers and cocktails. The bar tender was super sweet and attentive. Also had the side salad just incase the burger was gonna be as hot as they described, it was good but alittle on the small side.

Poor management: My wife came in on a Sunday to give this place a chance instead of the larger corporate locations. We picked our own table because we were never greeted or offered a table. We were offered a drinks and menus after a few minutes after seating our selves and were patient because they appeared to be some what busy for this small establishment. We waited for approximately 12 to 15 minutes and could see the blind hair lady who appeared to be the manager was counting the food tickets instead of assisting her staff with checking the customers were being helped. Went to DJ'S restaurant & taphouse instead and were treated much better and attended to quickly.

Oh my goodness!!! Talk about good food, this is the spot. Good atmosphere, great service, amazing food! This was our first time and won’t be the last! Items ordered: dozen wings (lemon pepper and Chuck’s sauce - highly recommend the Chuck sauce!), the beast fries (yes indeed add jalapeños), kids corn dogs and the San Francisco burger. Enjoyed the calamari, the club sandwich and the chicken quesadillas. Food is a bit pricey but the atmosphere is fun and comfortable. Service was prompt and friendly.

This was the worst experience we have ever had here. And this isn't the first time coming here. Food was disgusting and over salted to the point we were getting sick. Half of my food was inedible. Waitress was awful and only cared about the people sitting at the bar (completely ignored the people sitting at the tables). Food took forever to get to the table. People seated after us were getting their food before us. We will not be wasting our money and time again. The company we had with us were also very unimpressed.

Love our Friday night watering hole. Great staff everybody is friendly. Everything we have had from the kitchen was off the hook. Best wings ever and the colossal burger is to die for. Shout out to Katie behind the bar and Vic in the kitchen.
