Chubby's Public House - Restaurant in Bryan - 3700 S Texas Ave #900, USA

We ate here at 6 on a Friday and were the only people here besides one lady having a beer at the bar. Not sure why it wasn't busier, maybe the location or because it's recently opened but ya'll should check this place out. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger with an extra patty and fries. The second patty was totally not necessary, one would have been plenty. Very good burger and fries. Girlfriend had the BLT and tater tots and said it was the best one she's had in town. This place also has a small bar and was playing rock music in the background. I'll definitely come back.

Amazing burgers and Fresh salads, our waitress was a very friendly middle aged lady who made us feel welcomed and served us on time. Their Nachos can improve.

Atmosphere: Fairly decent size restaurant with lots of room between tables. They had the counter with some beer on tap and the seats were really unique, which went with the overall steampunk decor around the establishment. They had 2 tvs showing the current NCAA football game and could see it as a chill spot to eat/watch the game/drink. Looking forward to what all else gets added in the near future since it has only been opened for a couple of months. They plan to get another steampunk shirt design added to their current rotation of shirts they have now, which feel like a great everyday shirt. Service: Service was great, although we were the only ones there, she made it a habit to take care of us and ensure our dine in experience was great. She even talked to us a bit about the restaurant and their move to the area. Quality: In order to compare their burger to others in area, I opted for a regular burger and upgraded my fries to their tater tots. After having a couple of bites, it is safe to say they are one my top 3 burgers in the area. The burgers are hand pressed and packed with flavor. To top it off, the tater tots didn't taste greasy at all, yet had a really good seasoning to them making them unique. I highly recommend giving them a shot and without a doubt upgrade to the tater tots, you won't be disappointed.

The food was good and the service was good the only thing that I did not like was that I left a tip and the lady that picks up the dishes got it I didn't know if that was who was supposed to get it or not

I've had probably 5 different burgers and they have all been exceptional. Tasty fries and tots. Reasonable prices and friendly staff. Definitely worth swinging by for lunch.

Awesome daily drink and food specials! 12 beers on tap, tons of beer in cans/bottles, and everything to make your favorite mixed drink. Delicious burgers and dogs! Not feeling a burger or dog, good sandwhich or salad selection.

Excellent burgers. I ordered the BBQ and it tastes great. Staff is very friendly and good atmosphere. Definitely eating here again.

July 1, 2023--Great place! I always have a great meal here. The beer and the burger specials make this place the biggest bang for your buck. If you're searching for where to eat, stop and come to Chubby's. April 13, 2023--This place never fails! Great food, I had Chicken Cordon Bleu Sandwich tonight and it was awesome. Great beer choices on tap, but I always start with Kona Big Wave. Try this place, you won't regret it. Feb 25th,2023-- Came back for my dogs birthday and had a great time again. Kalen is the best server so you gotta go meet him. The service and food here are both amazing. Feb 11th,2023--One of this city's Best Burgers. Great beer selection. Really cool owners that make this a perfect meetup and hangout type place. Oh Annnnnd... They have outdoor seating and love when you bring your dog!!!
