Chubby Chicks Cafe - Brunch restaurant in Blackwood - 1401 Little Gloucester Rd, USA

I’ve been to Chubby Chicks more then a few times and I’ve never been disappointed. The vibe and atmosphere is just right the food is even better. The owner is extremely friendly and so is the staff. Feels like your speaking to a family or close relative you’ve been knowing. They definitely aim to please and making sure you come back. My favorite dish is the Catfish and Deep fried grits a must try and also the wings I CANNOT NOT MENTION THOSE WINGS. Amazing spot.

I arrived too early for the outlets to be opened do I did a search on google for breakfast as I’m not from the direct area. The catchy name of this business hooked me. I love my diners but this was a gem of a find. We were immediately greeted by a young man with a huge smile. The music playing made you feel alive and let you know you were somewhere special. Uniquely decorated with Pink velvety sofas, black trim and twinkle lights hanging above you. Our waitress was adorable. She took her time answering our questions with a smile I might add. First was the coffee, hot and tasty. The black cup on a saucer was a nice touch but the gold spoon put it over the top. Our chicken and waffles arrived steaming hot garnished with fresh blueberries and strawberries. A frosted glaze along with confectionery sugar finished the plate. I felt like royalty using the gold utensils. Let’s not leave out the pink syrup. 4 minutes from the Gloucester Premium Outlets. Go get you some!

Wow!! This place is amazing. Me and my boyfriend were trying to find somewhere new we can dine together, and that can be hard considering I’m vegan and he is not. But this place has it all! The vegan options are delicious and filling! The vegan wings were my favorite. I almost missed them on the menu until the lovely Shakeira suggested I try them! The atmosphere is inviting, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and you’re listening to great music as you eat! The menu items have fun names and the drinks are delicious. The portions were large, we left very full and still had more to take home. We will definitely be back!

Came here on a work lunch with my boyfriend. And we were SHOCKED by the portions everything came out larger than we had expected! Lots of very sweet entrees to choose from and they had a lot of fun non alcoholic drinks here. I had the strawberries and creme drink which was better than the Starbucks Pink Drink. My boyfriend had chicken and waffles and because we came in on Wednesday it was only $10! I got "10" boneless peach wings, but I'm pretty sure I ended up with more than 10. And the stuffed sweet potato french toast. Everything was phenomenal except for the French toast (some parts were good and moist others were cry and crispy; the price for the French toast wasn't on the menu but it was $25 so I wouldn't order it again). Overall I would definitely come back with friends, and I think they have either vegetarian or vegan options on the menu! Just be mindful that it will take some time for the food to cook.

Everything was flavorful. It wasn't very busy. Our waiter greeted us and took our drink orders. Both of them was so very good. I don't know which I liked better. Lol.. we ordered a few starters as well as our main meal (brunch) Food so good make you want to slap your momma. I was excited to hear a 2nd location coming soon. I can't wait.

I drove 2 hours from NY for my friends birthday here. This place did not disappoint !!! The Jerk Lamb with truffle fries was delicious❤️ The music was bumping, the ambiance was on point. Food came out quick. No complaints. Shout out to Latifa , Boss lady and Auntie they were so accommodating. We will be back!!! Thank you.

At first glance this looks like it’s just instagram ready, but the food surprisingly tasted just as good as it looks! The service and the vibes were also amazing I wish it didn’t take me so long to come try this place it was so good!

I love supporting black owned businesses but this place has a lot of improvements. I feel like this business is more for a type of Saturday night vibe not a Sunday afternoon brunch vibe. The music is loud me and my friends had to yell at each other because we couldn't hear each other. We waited a long time for our server to take our order and then even longer to get the food. They were nice and apologized because they weren't use to it being so busy apparently, but I feel like Sunday afternoon is prime brunch time and you should be prepared. Not to mention I didn't see our server being busy and running around, I saw him just dancing and on his phone. I asked him for a drink he said sure then I never got it. And 3 of our orders were wrong. It got to the point where I didn't even want the drink and we all wanted to leave. It was just very overstimulating. I also don't think the food was worth the wait. It was okay but not amazing. I think this place could be great but it needs a bit more professionalism and maybe it should switch to a night time vibe instead of brunch.
