It's a beautiful Park and there's lots of benches however sitting on the cement based benches really give your core and legs a workout as you have to balance on them. You can't lean forward or backward or they will trip.
We were at Chubb Park for 4H Fair. Amazing experience. An evening well spent with family and friends. So much fun activities such as rides, food, animals, hay ride, hot air balloons etc.
Big park with lots of baseball and soccer fields. There are also a couple of tennis courts , a dog fenced field and a park for kids. And of the trail you can find some random toy houses😅
I was extremely excited for the 4H fair but that came to a screeching halt when they sold raw chicken to me. There was barbecue sauce covering it so I couldn't see it at first in the dim lighting. It was completely raw too, I got sick afterwards. They didn't have much going on in terms of usual fun fair activities, but they had adorable animals and pony rides
We were here for a soccer game. Field conditions were pretty poor but it was the first spring season game. Kids enjoyed the park afterwards.
Great park. Perfect place to walk the dog, or walk without the dog.
Rating Firemans carnival @ Chubb park, went opening night, parking free and close to fair grounds. Went with my wife and 3 boys (1,3,6). Rides were a little disappointing, most didnt allow adults to ride with kids bc theyre too small and the others wanted to charge for 2 if we wanted to take the baby on the ride. I also wouldnt recommend the wrist band as there are too few rides to use the on and theyre kind of weak. Carnival games were another issue altogether as the people running them were kind of rooting against you. Definitely not doing it in the future, which is too bad because i have small kids and its really close.

Hungry for breakfast and was looking for something new. Found this tiny sweet spot on the road. Parking lot was full so it gave me some peace of mind. It is a tiny hole in the wall with about 6 tables and counter service.place was full on this visit
