Not my first time at CHOPT in Charlottesville, VA but this time was more memorable as I was truly amazed with Jalen (hope I heard him pronounce his name correctly), my salad Chef! He was kind and patient with me and helped me choose the perfect dressing for my salad. The food was great, but the service was outstanding! Well done Chopt! He’s a keeper. Thank you Jalen! I cannot wait to come back again. :)

Megan is the best salad creator! The food is always good regardless who makes it but Megan has the magic touch. Highly recommend this place to anyone who want great food. Also restaurant is always a clean and the staff is very helpful. Can’t wait to go back.

1st time at Chopt and probably my last. I ordered the classic Cobb salad. Comes with romaine lettuce and ranch dressing. I am not a fan of romaine but figured how bad would it be. The ratio of lettuce to the other ingredients was way out of proportion. I had to search the salad to even find the miniscule pieces of chicken and the hard boiled eggs were just teeny-tiny. The dressing had no flavor. The overall salad was bland I do not recommend this salad choice. 😒

Decent salads - would have given it 5 stars but got the Orchard salad and it barely came with any toppings - overwhelmingly lettuce and toppings were few, far between, and buried at the bottom. I do like the salads they have with Panko chicken, and their specialty salads and new Gochujang dressing tastes great. They are a good option, but quite expensive, and especially since Chick-Fil-A opened up in the same complex, might be worth it to go there instead and save on price for a salad like the Orchard Salad.

Ordered via Uber Eats, was fairly happy to recieve my order promptly. Went to bite into a piece of chicken in my ceasar salad and it was completely frozen. Tested other pieces and they were still frozen too. Very disappointing.

The guy making my salad was rude & not helpful. 1st time there & so I thought it was like chipotle add all the ingredients you want, well $23 later I said wow & the guy proceeded to say I couldn’t believe you got all those ingredients, I said you could’ve said something & he said it says it on the sign that is 10ft tall. I said never again & then he walked away & I had to ask the. Ice lady for my cup. I even tipped him $2, felt bad for his attitude. I will never go back.

Reasonably priced, healthy choice. Nice staff, nice clean simple atmosphere. Great pick for a fast casual lunch!
