Walked in to Chomp Chomp and the employee immediately welcomed us. The vibe is a little dark and moody with a cool library ladder style liquor wall. Lunch menu was a bit limited. We went with the brussel sprouts (delicious), steak bites (a bit dry), Cheeseburgers (pretty good, but nothing that sets it a part from a regular burger and fries), the ramen bowl (large portion, great flavor, not a huge fan of the pork belly texture but that might just be a personal preference thing), and then the Kara'age bowl (chicken was crispy, accompanied by rice and cucumbers, just needed an extra side of sauce because it was a little dry). All in all, it was pretty good, I think the flavors were just a little underwhelming. Servers were friendly and helpful.
Took my wife to celebrate our first anniversary last week. The ambiance is nice but we were majorly disappointed in the quality of food and drink. Started with a figgity faded cocktail, which was supposed to be a fig dark and stormy, but tasted so much of rum it was almost undrinkable. Definitely not what you expect for $14. The blackberry jam mocktail my wife ordered was tasty but seemed overpriced for $8 and no alcohol. We started with the crab rangoons, which were decent for the price of $10 for 3. I appreciate the server asking us to add an extra so we had an even amount because we are rangoon fiends :) For a main we split the Almighty Gyudon and I can't express my disappointment enough. The portions were tiny for $20 and the dish was all one mild brothy flavor note and mushy texture (with the exception of the pickled ginger, that was the best part of the meal!). The rice was clumpy and mushy, no care was taken to fluff the rice when it was scooped out of the rice cooker. I may be splitting hairs with that last one but for the price of this dish I expected much more. Look elsewhere, you can find much better food and drink in Bend at this price point.
Wasn’t awful but wasn’t great. We went for the Ramen ($20/bowl) - good portion of noodles but hardly any meat. Took quite a while to get food. As pictured, we got the crab Rangoon for an appetizer. It was yummy but for how much it was($10), would’ve loved to have more than three. Won’t recommend.. 😏 Definitely needs more seating. Customer service was meh.. Cool place though. ***UPDATE: got severely sick the next 4 days after eating here. Not sure if it was due to the food but sick enough to go to the ER - not able to eat or drink anything..
amazing service, the worst food I have ever had in my life. There is nothing japense about this restaurant - $80 for inedible food

I was in Bend on a Sunday afternoon and noticed this fun restaurant. I'm glad I popped in. I tried the chicken kara'age and it was incredibly delicious. The food, service and drinks were all great. I'll be back, for sure.
Really enjoyed our dinner. We wanted to try dishes Unique to the restaurant since we eat Japanese all the time and have been bored for so long. Had to try their chomp fuu hiroshima fuu and was glad I did. The favorite of the night was the appetizer of chomp house cheese dip which I wish I could get the recipe to and make at home it was so good that I would actually make cheese dip at home for friends and family if I could impress them with this. My partner was a fan of the almighty gyudon. The cocktail menu at the restaurant was different than the one online so I can’t post which we had but they were delicious. Staff was ultra friendly. It was the end of the night and the restaurant wasn’t full so it was loud inside so they were happy to let us eat outside even though they were starting to break down the patio area on the sidewalk.
Came here while visiting Bend and had a great experience! "The Fu" was exceptional. We loved the ambiance and enjoyed sitting upstairs, eye level with the top shelf spirits on the ceiling height bar (bartenders climb a rolling ladder). Our server was great and offered to only charge me happy hour price for my drink when it came without the advertised tajin rim (it did have some cute flowers). Their kimchi was also delicious! If I lived here, I'd go to Chomp Chomp all the time.
The food was delicious. The service was amazing. Love their customer service. The torta is so good and the fries were very good as well. I love the combination for the price, and I was able to have left overs. The meat combination was on point. Comi
My experience at OC sports performance was second to none. I began lifting here when I was about 14 years old and wasnât the most motivated to put the gym work in to excel in my sport, but regardless, I was able to learn all the lifts and more abou
I would give this place a 6 if I could! We made an unplanned stop here on a little rode trip around Bend and I'm so glad we did! First, the service was incredible and everyone working was so helpful in choosing what to order. The sauce combination re
