Young man working the reservations is top notch. He made booking easy & was very friendly once arrived. Location I'm only giving 4 stars on account of the Turnpike noise. Kept me awake most of the night. Women's restroom had no paper towels.

We stayed here a few nights while visiting the National Parks in the area. Friendly greeting upon our arrival. The next day, while we were headed to Gettysburg, we received a call from the campground stating we had water coming out from underneath our camper. They wanted us to know and also told us that they had shut off the water. When we returned, Chip, the owner, came and showed us where the water was coming from and helped us figure things out. A lot of places we would have stayed at wouldn't have noticed this. Yes, you can hear highway traffic at the campground, but we have gotten used to things like that in our travels. All seasonal campers we had contact with were very friendly. We would stay here again.

We stopped for a night to make the trip from Ohio a bit easier. There are no signs when you pull in to where the office is located. Was quite simple, but a sign would have been nice. Then once at the office, we were greeted quite rudely as if we didn't belong. The office girl was nice tho. While seeing up, we got a flat on the trailer. We went to change it out with the spare and noticed that it needed air. My son went to the office and the guys in there told him to go away. Luckily there is a shop near by and we got the tire repaired instead of using the spare. All-in-all, bit of a redneck campground, tons of old beat up trailers, dirty bathhouse, litter all over, and little kids driving around 4 wheelers with no supervision or even helmets. Very glad we didn't plan a vacation here and only stayed 1 night!!! What a dump, not to mention constant highway noise!!!

We stayed at Choice Campground over the long Memorial Day weekend. The staff and people are very friendly. The kids enjoyed the nicely equipped playground. The cons: Close to the highway, so you listen to the cars and truckers go by all night long. The water pressure was awful. The bathhouse is dirty and if you don’t go at an odd time to shower, you will be lucky to get a trickle of water. The campers next to us did not pick up after their dogs and left their trash. Kids driving around in golf carts and atv’s all day! It was an experience, unfortunately not a good enough experience to come back.

The playground area was great and my kiddos loved camping by the creek. I have to say though it is the noisiest campground I've ever stayed at. Between the trucks on the interstate behind the campground and people blasting music, it wasn't exactly peaceful. Because people cruise around all day on their golf carts, atv's, four wheelers etc on the dusty dirt roads...everything is filthy and there was only a trickle of water in the bathhouse to get a shower and it was cold. So we had to heat water and sponge bath at our campsite. I wish I would have known about the water ahead of time so I could have prepared for it or canceled our trip.

It's a "camping court" there are no rooms. Service is as good as it gets. The location is right beside a stocked fishing stream, perfect! If there is a downside is that it is so popular, that it gets a little crowded at times.

After just driving inside the property ,I was amazed at the amount of 4 wheelers darting around in every direction. Even more amazing was how many young children were at the controls. Everyone please be on the lookout for kids and off road vehicles. If you like to raise a little hell (but nicely)and people watch this might be a good place to check out. We were there on the weekend so it may be more “chilled out “ during the week
