We go here for so much of our holiday chocolate needs! It's delicious stuff, they have everything from adorable classic molded shapes to truffles to single-source chocolate so you can taste all the regional flavors.

The sipping hot chocolate they serve is mind-blowing!! Hands down the best I've ever had. Pure physical pleasure for my taste buds; and there are not many foods/meals that make you drool when you think about them afterwards! Orange milk bark w/almonds was really good; it's nice for a change to taste chocolate made of ingredients I can understand (as opposed to half of the Mendeleev table). Chocolate and vanilla ice cream were finally done right! The young lady who helped us with the purchase was super nice, and generous with samples. We will definitely come back.

WOW!! Love chocolate and am even a bit of a chocolate snob and Chocolate Necessities just blew me away! Good and interesting selection. Tried 5 different chocolates and each one was amazing. Especially the chocolate Carmel truffle. If you love chocolate, this 8s your new favorite place!

A hidden gem in Fairhaven district Rich and interesting selections of truffles include unusually good variety of liquor infused ones We tried a dozen different flavors and the Nut Crunch is voted the best! Other flavors are all pretty tasty though I do wish the outer crust if those truffles was softer and smoother so that they would be more integrated as a whole There are also many novelty chocolates ( think hedgehog, Christmas train, snowman…etc) as well as single origin wafers on the shelves Decor is warm and remind me of Tuscany style tasting rooms Did not try its gelatos and thus not able to comment on those

Excellent chocolates with a lot of different flavors and choices. Super friendly employees and a comfortable atmosphere. 10/10 will visit again!

Stopped by here downtown to check out their gelato. I wasn’t disappointed, and neither will you be. Star of the show was dark chocolate, but anything is amazing. Generous tastings too.

Five stars all around. Employees were extremely helpful, nice and friendly, and they wearing masks which I really appreciated. In addition to gelato, they had a large selection of fun sorbet flavors. I got the watermelon and grapefruit and both were flavorful, had a perfect consistency, and tasted just like their fruit counterparts. The watermelon was amazing. I also got some chocolate and the pieces I had were delicious, rich, fruity, and exquisite. Some of the best chocolate I’ve ever had literally and that’s saying something as I’ve traveled all over the world and even lived in Basically everything was fantastic. Tip: Free parking on the side of the building.

I love the chocolate from chocolate necessities and the Gelato is so delicious. The place also has a nice fancy atmosphere. It would be a nice place to take a date to. The employee was very friendly and helpful.
