Chippewa Motel - Motel in St. Louis - 7880 Watson Rd, USA

I was reading a lot of comments and people keep talking negative about it. Well, what do you expect for $65 nowadays cheapest hotel room is for $165 and more so you get exactly what you paid for sure. the places rundown this place has been here for years and years and years and a lot of people go in and out so when you have dirty people live in it of course they’re not gonna take care of the place so it’s called wear and tear. definitely needs a lot of love and TLC, but you can’t complain you saw it online and you still decided to come here and then you have a nerve to complain, but the staff is really friendly. It’s definitely quiet and peaceful not a lot to do around there, but you got what you paid for and yes, it has holes in the sheets because it’s a smoking room and I think a lot of people that do drugs rent that place so they definitely burn sheets, and they DONT make a lot of money to UPGRADE it. I would say if they took about $2000 for each room to upgrade it then no one would complain but then again they probably make $1500 or less every day from people renting it but then they have to pay utilities rent and everything else so they don’t make a lot of money to upgrade But once they do that the prices will definitely go up. it’s not the best place but it’s not the worst. Don’t come here rent room if you’re gonna complain pay three times the amount and get a better room then. But no matter where people go negative Nancy’s will always find a reason to to complain.

the rooms are not the cleanest or the nicest , but they are willing to work with you for the payment and they are in the. process of putting in new carpet and curtains thank God.

I do not recommend anyone going here they will put you out in a heart beat the rooms stink they have bugs the ac didn't work the blankets have wholes in them the future needs to be replaced bed was uncomfortable I have 4 kids

The rooms are in need of some paint, new furniture, and some good cleaning. The rooms are really high in price for them being such a ghetto looking place. The bathroom door was off the hinges, there holes in the walls and it smells really bad. The carpet is probably where the smell is coming from cause it's got black spots from where people had spilled stuff on and just left it. I wouldn't leave my dog in these rooms they're not even fit for an animal.

I have to say the lady does offer a cheap room..i wish the floors and the walks were cleaner but shes doi g her best..i also think the locks on the doors could be way less rickety..but all in all you get a cheap room for an almost cheap price

Can not believe this place gets any business. I really really should've looked into this place better. The room was absolutely filthy. Curtains were absolutely disgusting. The walls had water marks and yellow. The table lamp was spliced with electric tape. Most of the electrical outlets didn't work. There was hair on the shower walls. The towels were basically see through. They charged me $72 dollars and refused to refund my money after I actually seen the room. ||I'll never ever go back. A block down I was charged $12 less and it was very nice.

Do not go here unless you have hit rock bottom!! They come in your room when you leave and steal and sometimes when your there like some pervs!! And they have the nerve to charge $75 a night and the room door that my daughter had did not lock!!!

I enjoyed myself when I stayed here but it had nothing to do with the actual motel itself. Had cockroaches in my room but that’s no surprise cause the room was dingy and dirty. This place is so run down I’m amazed they haven’t bulldozed it yet. And it’s kinda pricey. This place is probably only suitable for teenagers who need a place to party. I know I did. When I was 17 this place didn’t seem bad but if u want to sleep and shower here I don’t recommend it
