Chinn Chapel Soccer Complex - Soccer field in Flower Mound - 100 Chinn Chapel Rd, USA

This is where I’ve come to take my son to play soccer just the two of us for a little over a year now and he’s been the best player on his team every season. We are here now practicing for tomorrow’s game which we hope does not get canceled due to the weather. They have restrooms here, water fountain, a miniature playground you can play on and kids can play on, they have a covered patio and obviously they have several soccer fields and lights for playing at night. They recycle and have trash cans and recycling Bends all over the place. This is a very nice and safe area and you can get some good exercise in as well. They have concession stands too I believe for soccer games.

If your team is doing bad, head across the street for wings and beer. I had three tall ones and some wings and never had to watch my kid play. What could be better than that?! I just saw a parent tell a ref off....every week

I'm sure this place was nice when first built, but now the fields are in dire need of better drainage and resurfacing. They aren't very level, and are quickly becoming dangerous to play on.

Great soccer field, has a small park with slide and climbing structure, lots of parking, very little shade on fields, there is a small covered picnic area near park, there's a snack bar and bathrooms on site (unsure of operating hours)

The correct address for the "Chin Chapel Soccer Complex" is 100 Chin Chapel Road, FLOWER MOUND, Texas 75028. As is the animal shelter just west of the Complex, this land is owned and maintained by the Town of Flower Mound, not Highland Village. The Town of Flower Mound was deeded this property from a developer (Baker brothers, I believe) after a little girl saw them illegally removing trees in the Wellington Development against town ordinances. The developer was fined (several million $) and the result of negotiations with Flower Mound and the developer, the land for the the latter two future facilities was deeded over from the developer TO THE TOWN OF FLOWER MOUND. GLAYSA secures permission/authorization from the Town of Flower Mound Bi-annually to continue to use the "Chinn Chapel Soccer Complex" as they also do with the Bakersfield Complex, also located in and maintained by The Town of Flower Mound. I know because I initiated the petition (about 1400 signatures) submitted to the town asking them to buy that land for "Sports Fields".

It's a decent soccer complex, but this visit the parking was taken. I didn't realize until later that several fans parked close by in the Shopping Center. Phil
