China King Express - Chinese restaurant in Belleville - 45915 S Interstate 94 Service Dr, USA

12/21/23 Well, after months of searching, I was FINALLY able to locate a Chinese Restaurant that still offers DINE IN service. It was a 40 minute one way drive for me but it was absolutely worth it. I was nervous when I first entered and found this enormous Restaurant empty with staff everywhere just relaxing. Always remember, appearances can be very misleading. This place quickly filled up as I was enjoying my meal. (I was there around 3:50 P.M.). The reason that most people go to a restaurant is to be able to relax and enjoy having a good meal, good service, a pleasant environment, and have nothing to clean up once we are finished. That's an issue that Google needs to address with regards to CARRY OUT ONLY establishments that CLAIM to be Restaurants. But that's not an issue here at China King Express. They have a Wonderful Restaurant that not only offers individual lunches/dinners but a FULL Chinese Buffet should you choose that option. I choose the Almond Chicken from the individual menu and had plenty of leftovers to bring home 🏡 for a later snack. My dinner was good and the service was Fantastic. My food came out in less than 10 minutes from the time I ordered it. And they have a Ice Cream Dessert bar (the kids will love it) if you still have room once you finish your dinner. The prices were VERY reasonable and for those who wish to indulge themselves, a complete bar with all kinds of drink options available. It's a great place to take the wife, the girlfriend, or (if you're Really, REALLY brave) both at the same time. Lol. They have plenty of room for the entire family. The kids can check out the huge aquarium by the entrance and have ice cream when they finish eating. They will be open on Christmas Eve AND Christmas Day for those who want to help the wife out after long, busy days.

China Kong is the real experience when it comes to Chinese food buffets in the USA. The food was fresh and hot with lots of tasty choices. I liked the sesame chicken and lo mien noodles the best. The white rice was sticky and a great base layer for all the goodness. Fried wontons get an honorable mention. Prices are very fair so give it a try for lunch or dinner!

Sweet and sour chicken has no flavor and looks like they just poured the sauce one it 🤮

Great buffet experience. Stopped in for lunch for the first time at this place and was pleasantly surprised with the quality. The food tasted great and for the first time at a chinese buffet I had to be careful about how hot the food was. Everything was fresh and hot and tasted great. Place has a full bar, and a soft serve icecream machine in addition to the food. Surprisingly this is probably the lowest costing buffet in all of SE Michigan The staff were so friendly and welcoming, it felt very homey in the dining area. The only thing that was a bit odd was one of the servers was standing right next to our booth the entire time listening to, and sometimes responding to our groups conversation. She was very nice and im sure did not mean anything by it, but that was different.

Pepper steak is decent but seems like sauce turns watery quickly. Ordered chicken fried rice and didn't get a single piece of chicken in it. Do better China King.

I normally love coming here and eating in their buffet, but today I regrettably ordered through drive thru. The almond chicken was literal rubber taste and very hardened. It was nothing like I thought it would be at China King and I’m still feeling ick from it hours later. It tasted like it was set out overnight and I’m so upset because this was my go to place, but for the pricing it just isn’t worth it anymore.

I can tell the food was from the night before, chicken gets a certain flavor when it's old, if you know, you know... the only food that tasted fresh was the rice and the mushroom chicken ... everything else was stale, hard and chewy, but you get what you pay for...it's only 10 bucks so don't expect much

Food always delicious. Never had any issues. First pic is double shrimp 8pcs, 2nd photo was double shrimp broccoli, 3rd pic double chicken almond. All were already started eating prior to pictures.
