China City - Chinese restaurant in Oak Harbor - 33185 State Rte 20, USA

I visited here for the first time for a business Christmas party, I wasn't sure what to expect. When I drove in to park I was impressed with the building which looked like it was newly constructed and nice finishes you can tell they went an extra mile to leave a lasting impression. The inside was equally impressive and reminded of that of an upscale China restaurant you would visit in New York or New Jersey. We had a a buffet style lay out that was brought straight to our table where the hostess orderd just about everything on the menu, so when I say I've tried almost everything on their menu, it's quite true, literally. some of my favorites were the kung pao chicken and szechuan beef, as well as the hot and sour soup....all so yummy and delicious. No cutting corners here. The service was as friendly and prompt. We had a party of 23 and everything went smoothly. I highly recommend this place and I've been back twice, chicken wraps are definitely something to try as well

I got teriyaki chicken and literally just the chicken, no rice or anything with it which is really weird never in my life did I not get rice with my teriyaki. I got 8 pieces of crab ragoons and some eggs rolls!! How in the hell did that come out to 90 dollars! The portion was so small. Just unbelievable!

The food is good especially the sweet and sour pork. But the hot mustard has a weird taste and the almond chicken has terrible gravy the chicken chow mein did not have enough veg. But we love the house fried rice.

Sat in the bar and it was a little loud if attempting to visit or talk. But the food was good, staff attentive and a good evening out was enjoyed. Never had sizzling rice soup before, it was very tasty (we had the family #3, plenty of food).

This was my first time here. The staff was fantastic at facilitating our whacky family dinner! Food was fantastic with great variety. Service was equally fantastic. Will definitely be back the next time we visit.

Food was not good. $50 for two and genuinely lower quality than panda express. Very unfortunate I don't know how people say this place is good when it had no flavor and very low quality meat. Felt like frozen reheated food from the dollar store. Not upscale at all. Interior looked nicr but food was 0/5.

Food was excellent, portions are large so if you want different things either bring a friend to share or be prepared to pay more and take the rest home. Conveniently located next to the hotel so that’s a bonus for travelers. Rice not included. That’s stamped ALL over their menu.

Bland, boring, and overpriced... but it was right next to my hotel, so there is that.. (that counts for something, right?) Also, super small amount of food for the price. I ordered (2) chicken chow meins and (1) potsticker, to go. My total was $53.50 after tax and tip... for one lunchbag of food. The whole time walking back to my hotel room, I swore I was going to my something missing when I opened the bag...but sadly, no... it was all there, just way overpriced. (I gave the service and atmosphere as 3 stars as it was takeout, so I can't really judge on those topics)
