Chimney Beach is one of the more populated beaches on the East side of Lake Tahoe. It is only about a half mile or less hike to the beach from the parking lot down to the beach. Popular with families, but one of the larger beaches. There is also an old still standing chimney, hence the name.
Amazing views! Hiking trails lead to beach that is like having your own private lagoon. Best day! Bathrooms located near parking. No food or facilities near beach. Pure nature.
Nice quite place with good view and a small beach to rest. The water is cold as always, but crystal clear. There is a small parking lot with availabilities around 15, the good thing is there is a bathroom in the parking lot.
Need to walk 0.6 mile down the trail to the beach. Parking is free but very limited car park. Reached before noon and had to wait for 5-10 min to get the spot. Bit hard to Walk back on the trail with kids. Nice view to take pictures while hiking. Small beach with clear water good for family and all. Kids had fun getting inside the water. Will come back again.
Beautiful beach!! .5 mile walk down. From the parking lot walk in the opposite direction of chimney beach (past the restrooms) then look for chimney beach signs. Eventually youll loop around towards chimney beach. If you try to take a more direct path you'll regret it (I know from experience). Wear good shoes, it's a little steep!
Beautiful beach with all types of blues, please clean up after your visit lets take care of this gem. The water is a bit cold but you get used to it💦
Love chimney beach. On the way back from burning man we stopped here for a very fun show on the beach 🤙
Crystal clear water!! I hit the trail before the sun was up and ended up not taking the main trail down, somewhat difficult, definitely need your hiking shoes. The beach was beautiful, nice and sandy and big boulders sprinkled all about. Lots of wild
One of the most beautiful places I've been to in my life. The colors are amazing.
It's worth the hike. Not for inexperienced travelers towards sunset. It is a brutal hike back up... but again - worth it.
We LOVED this place. Fresh ingredients, excellent flavors. We live on the road so we bought several of the amazing frozen curries to keep in our freezer. We were sorry when the last one was gone! Carson City is lucky to have this restaurant.
This beach is a hidden treasure in Lake Tahoe, Nevada and definitely worth all the trouble of trekking from the road above using forest trails.
The beach area is truly beautiful with majestic views of the snow clad mountains, forests and the sparklin
Hiked the two shortest trails with a 10 yr old and 4 year old. Spent about 3 hours whuch included many photo stops. Stunning views regardless of season. Don't think I'd take little ones if there was snow as some parts of the trail are very narrow wit
Had a big order for our family Christmas game night, and it was wonderful. The tamales were the big hit, and enchiladas were so cheesey and delicious. Would highly recommend big or small orders, great people, and a friendly vibe.
We came here today and it was pretty awesome . No people really . There is trails but look to be kinda hot to walk ! But dogs are allowed in and off leash and thatâs a big thing for us :) great park :)
Discovered this cute place during my ski trip.
They have a fireplace outside and a music room indoors. They play live music on Thursdays.
A mix of older and younger crowd, mostly locals but they are super nice and easy to talk to.

I told the lovely girl at the window that I wanted a blended coffee with chocolate and caramel and that I liked it sweeter more than bitter. This was the best coffee I've ever ordered. I wish I would have taken a picture of it but I didn't think that
One of the most friendly and professional team I have ever encountered at In N Out. ( Usually excellent but I had to give a Shout Out!!) Super HAPPY crew and during busy diner rush!! Hardly a wait even though extremely busy!! Food was excellent...a t
