Hands down one of my most favorite places to take Grandsons! So many things to do! There's a place to play outside too. They have music play, water play, dinosaurs- and even a Dragon in the basement!!! There's also a model train track downstairs that's very cool! Admission is only $10 and that is a fantastic deal! There is a party room for party's. There's a room for camping play, as well as a room for coloring and crafts and a cool sandbox to dig through with hands. Lots of bathrooms with changing places for Littles. They have small snacks and drinks available to purchase and a snack table to sit and enjoy. We travel 45 minutes to play here and it's totally worth it!
So much fun! Kids loved the old castle, indoor space playground and the hospital room! $10 a person and also right next to battleship cove and the bride so nice views for the kiddos
The experience itself was enjoyable for my almost 2 year old. I will say, I think that the toys that require batteries should all be charged or have batteries that work so that they are able to be used to their full capacity. That was inconvenient. There were dinosaurs, light cubes, and other battery-operated toys that were unusable because of this factor. Also, I did not notice any physical monitoring by staff. Video monitoring was evident. I think that the staff should do run throughs periodically to clean up and organize for newcomers. Many rooms were disheveled and we were confused as to how to play with certain things. The interactive sandbox was ominous and we were unsure of how it was supposed to be interactive apart from the sand itself. The art room was trashed and not appropriate for our daughter. There should be more toddler oriented crafting options. The air compressing ball tunnel was broken. Looked interesting. But we were let down. Overall, the staff was kind. The price is inexpensive. Most rooms were enjoyable and well-stocked, others need a good update. This place has potential to be better. Just fix the broken things, update some of the rooms, make sure everything that is provided can be used to its full potential, and staff should be actively organizing rooms after they are played in. Sure, parent should teach their children to clean up. But, staff should be more attentive.
I was pleasantly surprised. This is a true treasure. Why this childrens museum isn't promoted more is beyond me. The space room, dinosaur room, water room, reading, sensory, diners for the kids. I can't say enough. If you have children, do yourself a favor and take them. It's hours of fun and exploration.
The kids always have fun here with all of the different rooms to explore. Music, art, magnets, jungle gym, a little sand box, and fossil/dinosaur room. They also have a small room you can reserve for parties and sell some small toys at the entrance. I didn’t give 5 stars due to the lack of sufficient staff to tidy up throughout the day and the subpar cleanliness of the building. It’s pretty dusty and could use a face lift. Staff are kind and plenty of parking available. There is even an outdoor fenced in space.
The staff was nice, the areas were fairly clean. Be prepared knowing this is not going to be like your big city children's museums. I believe the building is a converted old school house so there are lots of little rooms with different themed toys. It was difficult when my oldest wanted to play in one room but our little guy wanted to go into a different one, but I was able to keep them occupied for a couple hours. The old bathrooms and architecture reminded me of being a kid. There are signs that say no eating/drinking in the rooms, I saw so many adults breaking the rules. There are also little/cheap toys at the counter when you enter/leave, it could make leaving without buying something difficult for some kids. There is also a camera in the music room, it would have been nice if there was a sign (I think it's so kids can see themselves play) but it caught me off guard after we had been playing in there for awhile. If you're in the area, it's worth a stop, but I wouldn't drive a far distance to come here.
We loved it. My grandson loved it Great price great place. Lived here my entire life never knew it was here. Cant wait to go back. We missed a few rooms.
Rocket ship playground is really nice but this place is absolutely filthy and sick coughing snot filled nose children all around. Come here if you want to be sick for the next 3 weeks with a lingering wet cough.
