Very educational experience for all. The kids had fun dressing up and playing the drum. Staff was very friendly and understanding.
Wonderful museum! Worth the stop! Definitely for younger children but my 14,12, and 11 year olds enjoyed it! Learned some new things and the people running it are the sweetest and very knowledgeable!! We sat on the front porch afterwards!
This place was right up our alley- any time the kids’ can immerse themselves in a multi-faceted sensory experience to get them excited or personalize their learning, we are there! Great for early elementary age in my experience or at least in our family mix- well curated very nice to have this experience in Gettysburg
It was a great experience, my daughter loved it. Each room had something fun to interact with. The staff was great about explaining things. We went at a slow time. Sonwe got a lot of time to really enjoy the whole place.
Our 4 year old really enjoyed it (as did his history loving dad)! We thought the museum was very well planned out, especially for various levels to engage in the history. You can go at your child’s pace. He liked all the different rooms, dressing like a solider and playing the drums, trying the old toys and kitchen items, playing hospital and bandaging a pretend solider, and trying the loom! The staff was very friendly and would check in on occasion to explain things. Highly recommend if you’re in the area with kids!!
WOW! this place is wonderful. The staff is so friendly. Took our 5.5 and 3.5 year old here and they loved it! Super kid-friendly and informative. Very interactive!
We had an awesome experience here last month! An amazing way to get children involved in learning history. We received our letter in the mail from Bob’s mom today and our son was SO excited. We highly recommend visiting here!
Great interactive little museum. It was our first stop and was very informative, a great introduction to the history of the town. Staff was amazing, very friendly and helpful not only with detailed explanation of the exhibits, but also with tips about the town.
