Really cool place. All kinds of planes to see including an actual F-15 fighter plane from Fort Langley. The only thing I can think of for improvement is some history and exhibits about the Chico airport itself. Didn't see any when I was there. Maybe I want looking in the right spot
Please donate to the Chico Air Museum. They have an entire art room you won't want to miss. The kids can sit in some of the planes and the staff is quite knowledgeable. The space room is neat too!!
Great group of knowledgeable volunteers that are enthusiastic lyrics ready to assist and answer any questions you may have. It was worth visiting. My daughter and I were really glad we were able to experience this undervalued museum...
Such an amazing place! The boys had a blast when the family we are visiting took us here from out of town. Definitely planning on going again to spend a lunch together while the kids play outside. They have a cute little playground amongst the grounded titans that are on display as part of the aero appreciation experience. So many models to learn about and observe, and even being able to see and sit inside really helps you understand more about the machines and the men and women that operate them. They even have a really cool space section that's being expanded as well. So much history and such a well organized staff to help out and make the experience that much more enjoyable. 10/10 will be visiting again!
Great collection of planes, local aviation history and a special fly in when we went. They have a swing band come in and play while people dance. Fun times in the hangar.
Very small museum, but they still have a punch of history out there!
I had a wonderful time watching, and listening a lot about the planes there.
Museum entrance is FREE, all you need to do is to sign up your attendance in a book so they can get the funding.
They have a really nice collection of pilot uniforms.
They also have a nice section for the history of the underground nuclear silos which happened to be in Chico
Parking is fairly small, but good enough for the size of the museum
What a great museum - perfect for family outing - and FREE entry. Volunteers super friendly and helpful. Lots to see? learn and touch!
This place is very cool!! Exciting stories and much information is available...truely awesome place! A must see for family and friends
Small but insightful place of information. This museum will tell you a lot more than you might imagine. Did you know there was an electric street car going from San Francisco to Chico. There were steamboat ferris coming up from SF ( to Marysville and
An amazing collection that will take you down memory lane! The yo-yo museum is a great place to learn about the history of the yo-yo. Every Saturday the staff holds a yo-yo education class where they will teach you tricks. The museum also has A troph
We came here for an after disc golf event. The place was packed, yet they were on top of the service. There was a band setting up but we left before the music started. Thereâs beer (obviously! brewing station) and other beverages. I liked the self
Great place to go have a drink and some food at the end of a long day. You should definitely look over their web page to see what food trucks, activities, live bands or events are going on during the week/weekend. Their staff is always incredibly nic
We really enjoyed the food and the restaurant! It was delicious! Innovative concept of the burger style dish, delicious fries, itâs nice to be able to hold it and not have ingredients fall out ð Lots of choices to customize it and some vegetaria
What a gem of a place. We went twice in one week and can't get enough. The pie crust on the pot pies and the pasties are so flaky and tender. New Chico favorite for sure.
So glad I found this place! They have a sausage muffin sand and chocolate banana bread ð They brew a local coffee too. Thereâs comfortable indoor seating and well shaded bistro seating outside. Very good customer service. I highly recommend!
Hiked the Yahi Trail. Beautiful fall colors and temperatures are perfect this time of year. Kid friendly adventuresome hike for 8 year old. The trail is mostly flat and runs along the creek. Lots of places to meditate or have a picnic. We went back o
Orange Theory has become a second home over the last couple years. Not only is it a great workout, the coaches, staff and members are so motivating and have become like a family. I canât say enough good things about OTF Chico. If you are on the fen
This place is LITERALLY a HOLE in the WALL of a building. So good! Best Carne Asada tacos Iâve had. Delicious moist tender meat with great salsa. And $7 for 4!!!! Highly recommend!
Great restaurant with great food and amazing vibe and design! We had a great time there, and enjoyed our food and their homemade drinks/juices! Their service was good and the lady who took our order and served our food was very nice and kind. We will
