Chick's Oyster Bar - Oyster bar restaurant in Virginia Beach - 2143 Vista Cir, USA

We enjoyed a nice dinner with a decent view of the inlet. The full order of oysters was delicious. My date ordered a half dozen Rockefeller and they weren't nearly as good. I ordered the Costa Rican soft tacos and they were really good and very filling. I almost added another taco for 7 dollars but I'm glad that I didn't. The drinks and beers were pretty good and the service left nothing to complain about. I would recommend if you're specifically looking for raw oysters. Parking is valet only, but there's no charge.

Valet parking starts the great experience right from the beginning! The atmosphere was stunning yet casual! I enjoyed the oyster shooters, and the Calimari was good (I loved the banana peppers, which added a unique flavor to the calamari).

The view of the water with the boats passing by was lovely. I loved the pleasant and friendly service. It felt as if I was having lunch on the water. The drinks are delicious and well balanced, not too strong.

I went here for a group social and am glad to have found the place. The food is exceptional, real local "back bay" style seafood that places like Red Lobster just try to copy. Everyone seemed really pleased with their food, and I can verify that the crab cakes were among the best I've ever had. I didn't even think to take a picture till I'd eaten most of my food. The waitresses were friendly, capable, and handled our large party well. And their complementary valet parking is a great solution to a small-lot problem.

The food was good, and the service was excellent. We ate outside, and the sunset was gorgeous, making up for the crowded seating. Valet parking was a nice surprise as the place was very busy. Expect 15 - 30 minute wait time.

We came specifically to this location. The atmosphere in the bar is authentic, and the tourist here feels like a local. Light country music, the bar is full, it's loud and there's a lot of laughter. We were already greeted by the friendly staff at the entrance. Unfortunately, we could not get a table outside and the kitchen only accepts food orders until around 8:30 p.m., so we felt under pressure because we arrived almost at the end of the working hours. The food was average. Deep-fried schrimps were great, but the main course was too salty.

Love chicks, especially when I’m boating great place to swing by always a great vibe. and the servers are always amazing just as the atmosphere.
