We spent four days here in a 3-person room with a private bathroom. The rooms were simple yet tidy and pleasant. Common areas and facilities were well-maintained. The location felt safe and was ideal for us, just a 10-minute walk to the nearby metro station, providing easy access to downtown and other parts of the city. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

(Super late review). Stayed here for three days in May 2022. We booked a 3-persom room with an attached bathroom. The rooms were basic but neat and nice. The breakfast provided was good. Nice common areas and facilities. The location was safe and perfect for us. Only a 10 minute walk to the nearby metro station which will take you to downtown and other parts of the city. Absolutely loved the experience!

Have stayed twice now and both times have been great. Helpful staff, excellent location, comfortable rooms. Marked down from 5 stars for a stinky backed-up toilet which, while the stall was marked as out of order, it wasn’t fixed in my 4 nights there.

Went down for one night with a friend and were in a new neighborhood we’d never checked out. We were happy to find this place. It was inviting, clean, and full of people. After we checked in, we went back to the front desk to ask a question, and the person behind the desk made up a list of places for us to check out! It was so sweet! Everything was a bike-able distance too; bars, restaurants, liquor stores, small markets for items you may have forgotten at home. Our room was super clean, very quiet, comfortable, and very close to the shared bathroom. In the morning we went down for coffee, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, and juice. I’d highly recommend staying here. We are coming back soon for more than one night.

The 4 bedroom was basic but comfortable enough. The bunk beds should include curtains for better privacy, which is a feature in many other accommodations within the same price range. Shared toilet facilities in each floor which were a bit old and not very well cleaned. The breakfast options were alright, including boiled eggs, bread/toast, pastries, cereals, coffee and derived beverages, etc. It would be nice to have hot options like scrambled eggs and sausages. Staff helpful and friendly at all times. Location wise, it was a simple and pleasant elevated train journey from a local train station, 10 minutes away from the hostel, directly into the core the city and the Loop. Contactless options like Apple Pay available on site.

Love this hostel! It’s my second time staying and I love it here! Perfect location, you are close to nice places, the area is very safe and clean. The hostel is very clean and the staff is so friendly! The only thing that I wish they would improve is the breakfast it needs more options.

We stayed here for 4 nights over the marathon weekend in a private room. Our room was spotlessly clean, spacious with a great shower. It was also very quiet as it backed onto the courtyard (room 303). The hostel has everything you need. Breakfast choice was restricted but the coffee was great and we were more than happy with cereal and toast. It’s in a great location - a 10 min walk to Fullerton station in one direction and a 15 min walk to Lincoln park in the other direction. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby. We loved Prost for beers and had a great meal at Parsons. We would definitely recommend this hostel, it’s fab!
