Usually we've loved this place. It's been my go-to Thai spot for many many years. This last time ordering takeout, we called ahead and our order should have been ready or close to. But I ended up waiting for 25 min extra because of horrible communication, and a lost order. The hostess/front staff gal was rude and not very helpful. Sitting there waiting, two other customers had issues with her because either she didn't listen or she was just rude to them. We asked for mild on everything, however it was so spicy I couldn't eat much without getting a gut ache. Their prices have jumped substantially and with how not only I was treated, but others as well, I will have to find another Thai joint that can be decent to people. The larger gal didn't even walk people to their tables, she just pointed and said you guys are good with water right? 4 different groups of people experienced this. Very very disappointed.
Ole Mon was humble plus the food was 10/10! House fried rice was crispy the way I enjoy it versus wet and mushy like most places. Thank you Sir.
This place needs better employees. The gal at the front is so rude. We drove from far to eat here just to find out that their business hours are a lie. The sign on the door and the website said they closed at 9pm but at arrival the rude gal said she was closed at 8pm. Didn’t even care to explain why she was closed 1hr earlier than posted. Maybe she wanted to go home early, lost business but it doesn’t matter she’s not the owner. Left a bad impression.
Friday night=horrible service. Will NEVER go back.
Called ahead and was told 25 minutes. They lost the order and after arriving it took almost a full 30 minutes to get our food. During this time the hostess, a larger woman, was horrifically rude both to us and to other people coming in. If we had not been there already we would have left. And almost did. When ordering the spiciness of the different foods, people were being told that it was either super hot or absolutely not at all. That there was no medium. I know that to not be the case from previous visits. The hostess mentioned above was seating people by pointing to tables and telling them that that would be their table and that they should be okay with water. They did not escort them to the table nor offer them something else to drink. When another woman came out and pointed out that our food had been waiting some time and that she did not understand why it was there we asked what was going on and were told that she was just having an off night. I have worked in the food industry and when somebody is having that kind of an off night it usually leads to them being fired. Not tolerated and permitted to treat people poorly. One guest who came in requested that the check be split between two cards and received an incredibly rude response and her request was not done correctly. Also, it was pointed out that their prices online do not match the prices in store and that the store price is are higher. No appointment for ANYTHING.
Based off of the service that we received and the fact that the special instructions were ignored for our food and that the food order was lost and most critically the horrific treatment of the hostess, me and my family will find another Thai restaurant and will happily drive much further than go here.
Good bye.
I have always loved Chang Mai. It has been my go-to for years. Tonight I ordered pick up off of google, showed up to pick up food and was greeted by a wretched human being. The employee at the counter was a heavier Asian woman that was maybe early 30s. She rudely informed us that they do not have our order, she said they do not accept online orders because she doesn’t know how to use a computer because she “just doesn’t care”. She stated I need to dispute the charge with my bank to get a refund. I asked does this happen often/ do people tend to get a refund through that process. In which she rudely pointed at the door and said “yeah otherwise I wouldn’t have put a notice on the door”. She then asked if I’d like to place a new order, I said yes because I was already there and really wanted food from there. After she handed me my receipt to sign, I signed it and handed it back , to which she slid it back and demanded I fill out the entire receipt including tip portion. Needless to say this has been one of my worst experiences with a restaurant I have ever encountered. When we got home to eat our food it was unlike any time I have ever eaten there, looked like it was thrown together last minute and potentially made out of spite, an absolute disappointment.
This woman has a blackened heart and should not be in the position to communicate with customers. Her presence alone will have a negative impact on that business for as long as she’s involved. I will no longer be ordering from there unless that is taken care of. I also believe there might be somewhat of a scam happening if they did in fact get my online order but they are refusing to see it through.
To start the business hours are false. We walked in a little before 8:00 and we were told they were closed. To top it off, the girl at the register was very rude. She just gave us the side eye and went on with what she was doing. I’m actually glad she turned us away cause I would hate to pay for that kind of service.
You know how when you go into a restaurant and sit down at the table and all the condiment containers are dirty? Yep, you guessed it! You can't touch the condiments in this place bare handed. Even the paintings above the table were spattered with food stains and food pieces. When the restaurant looks dirty out front I can't help but wonder what the back looks like.
I usually eat at other Thai places and have never been to this place before so I thought I'd try it one night. The cha yor tasted nasty and upset my stomach immediately after eating it. In fact I wasn't even able to eat my entree due to upset tummy. The prices are on par with the other Thai places around the valley that I've been to. Service was slow but okay if you don't mind your server being a little argumentative. I won't be returning.
Their yellow curry with rice, and beef salad (yum nam tok) are really good and fresh. They have 5 level of spicy 🔥 so you can actually customize your favorite. I went with level 3 for the beef salad and it is good and hot. The only reason I give it 4 stars is that their restaurant space is a bit dark for me. Other than that, I am happy with price, attentive staff and good food.

Must try! Everything was delicious. I honestly don't remember the names of the dishes, but I included photos. Definitely try the fried chicken with curry! Adorable place too!
Great experience here. Had a good time with the dimly lit, chill atmosphere. Our server was nice and friendly. The food was delicious! The drunken noodles tasted amazing! I chose a cocktail that was very colorful and tasted pretty good too. You can a
Great food and very friendly staff. We came with our dog and they accommodated us very well out on the patio and brought him his own water bowl too. The food we had was all great. It's neat to have a place so close where we can get to try handmade au
Without a doubt this is my favorite pizza in all of Boise. I can remember having their pizza up on the bench when I first moved to Boise back in 2009 and it's still as good now as it was back then. The crust is always that thin and chewy perfect with
I really enjoyed having a flight of unique experimental beers, while people watching in Downtown Boise. In October, we really enjoyed the fresh hop and Oktoberfest!
Amazing staff and cool vending machine.
The trail systems at and around Camel's Back Park are top-notch! LOVE this area so much. Boiseans are very fortunate to have these maintained trails available to them for walking, hiking, running, and mountain biking.

We ordered a German sausage and a Panini House. Both came with a small milk chocolate on the side, and a bag of Lay's chips. A simple yet delicious lunch at very fair prices and just what we needed on this hot Boise day. I finished the meal with Turk
We planned to stop in Boise on our drive from Seattle to Salt Lake City. We loved the Boise Guesthouse so much we returned a week later on our way home. On our first visit, we stayed in the Animal Studio, and on our second we stayed in the Travel Su
Seriously the best empanadas! The crust is so buttery and yummy and the fillings are flavorful. I need to try more flavors, but recently I tried the Gaucho and the cheeseburger. Both were great, gaucho was my favorite!
Beautiful park area - I don't care for the narration boxes that much but the quotes on the walls are very moving. Lovely water features and very calming. It's right on the green belt, so it gets a lot of traffic.
My compliments to the chef. This food was so fresh and delicious. The taste was perfectly balanced and pleasing to all the senses. It was light, rich and flavorful. Iâm very particular about the quality of my food and I donât have a single compla
