Very impressed by the selection/options (a mix of Japanese / Chinese), the service, and the taste! The sesame chicken was some of the best ever. Lightly breaded perfection with tender white meat chicken. The cold tofu is a must try!
We went to dinner here at our first visit to Stanley Marketplace and it didn’t disappoint. We tried an order of Bao buns, the kids menu veggie ramen, General Tsos chicken and Spicy Tantanmen Ramen. Both ramens were flavorful, rich and nicely portioned! The Bao buns were soft and the pork belly was rich and we demolished them. I wasn’t incredibly impressed with the chicken. It was cooked a little much I thought and their sauce wasn’t perfect either. As others have mentioned the robot was very helpful and fun and the waitstaff were attentive. I do think you will be pleased if you are in the mood for ramen if you visit Chi Lin.
Awesome little Ramen place! The Mapo Tofu is a must try and the dumplings were amazing! Great atmosphere, the servers were friendly/prompt, and the food was delicious! Go check it out, I will definitely visit again!
Solid ramen, with a good portion size. They have a wide variety on their menu. The robot, which I've been seeing at more and more asia restaurants, was amusing. The people who served me were also good. The location in Stanley Market was also convenient.
The vibe of this restaurant is out of this world; the whole place is decorated in a Japanese theme and it is very detailed. The food was great, and best of all, they have a robot that the waiters use to help them serve food. Our food took a while to come out but I hope that just means it’s cooked clean. I’m so sad that I don’t live near this place because if I did I would definitely be coming back. Four stars is because it wasn’t exceptional, just very good.
Food was okay. Nothing special as one would expect from a food hall. I got the ramen and the meat just looked suspicious like it wasn’t fully cooked maybe. Also got the takoyaki which I’ve had better. I liked the vibes and the robot was really cute.
Lovely ambience and outstanding service. I ordered a Drunk Panda cocktail and it was just super sweet. Pork belly baos were yummy. I ordered a pork belly bowl for my entree and was somewhat disappointed. The meat wasn’t very interesting and the pickled vegetables didn’t add much to the dish. Lots and lots of rice but overall lacking in flavor. I would go back for the baos and overall vibe.
Cool restaurant in Stanley marketplace. Everything was tasty and the food is served by a robot. Pretty cool.
