The atmosphere was fancy and the Host sat us down near the windows in the front. He placed our napkins on our laps, he asked if we wanted flat or sparkling water. We received our menus and the wine list and water very quickly. We ordered appetizer and the food came out quickly. We ordered octopus appetizer, duck, risotto, and a millefeuille apple dessert. The octopus and duck was excellent. We shared everything and it all tasted great. We weren’t completely satisfied with the risotto recipe. We came in winter and sitting by the window was quite cold. There was a large party, and a few other couples. There is actually a great place to sit at the bar to have a meal as well. We thought it wasn’t that busy for a Friday. We came to celebrate a birthday, and they brought our dessert with a candlelit on top. I would love to come again for a special occasions. The price could have been price better. The wine list was excellent. We were overall very happy.
Honestly one of the BEST restaurants in LB and LA hands down. Chef Danny and his team truly celebrate every ingredient they present on a plate and everything marries so well together. It's a culinary masterpiece. And bonus...not only is the food amazing but the staff here treat you like family. Also, their staff matches all your meals with the perfect glass of wine to elevate whatever dish you're enjoying that night. I've been here multiple times and I have yet to find to a menu item that doesn't exceed expectations. Both their brunch and dinner are worth checking out. It was so good one day that my bf and I decided to check out both meals in the same day. Worth it!
What can I say it was the best experience I had in a long time. Loved the food. The wine selection was amazing. Service was amazing felt at home. From walking in and out, I'm not disappointed at all from walking to this restaurant. I hope more people will experience what I did here.
This has quickly become one of our absolute favorite restaurants, and is totally worth the drive to Long Beach. We have thoroughly enjoyed everything we have tried from Chef Danny and our server Isaac and the rest of the team are incredibly attentive and truly caring. From being greeted personally by the owners and then having an amazing experience, I can wholeheartedly recommend Chez Bacchus. We will most definitely be back!
This place was amazing! Highly recommend opening your wallet and coming for a visit. John the wine guy gave FANTASTIC recommendations for wine and knew exactly what we were looking for. Brittany was our server and she was so attentive and friendly. This restaurant was incredibly clean too! There are different menus for the time of day so make sure you know what you’re looking for at what time. Saturday/Sunday brunch then tea time then dinner. Will definitely be returning!!
We did the chefs table dinner for a friends birthday party! 8 courses but I wasn’t overly stuffed which was great! I didn’t drink but my friends said the wine pairings were delicious. Loved meeting the chef and would totally come back here again!
We wanted to try some place new for our anniversary and the 5 star reviews lived up to its rating! We absolutely enjoyed the attention to detail from the sommelier, our host and bar tender. We thoroughly enjoyed our food, you can tell the farm to table concept from just tasting the fresh ingredients. Food was delicious, and presented well. The drinks that they customized for us and offered to pair with our meal was superb. Overall, we had a fantastic first experiences and will be coming back!
This was the most amazing restaurant to happen upon! The food was incredible to the point that even being completely full, I wanted to eat everything! The wait staff were all so friendly and attentive. I cannot stress enough how wonderful everyone working in this restaurant is! They also accommodated all my food sensitivities and gave me replacements that I couldn’t even tell were replacements they were so good. The wine selection here is also so extensive and delicious. We ate like Kings and Queens here!
