I recently stayed at Cheyenne Mountain Resort in a Deluxe King Room. While the resort has some positives, my overall experience was just okay, considering the price point for certain room types. The staff was a highlight of the stay. The front desk was helpful, and the restaurant and pool snack bar staff were always friendly and courteous. Service-wise, I have no complaints. I didn’t use the spa or gym, so I can’t comment on those, but the main resort pool was generally fine. However, it was typically crowded, and finding a free lounge chair was a challenge since many guests left their towels behind, making it hard to know which seats were available. Given the dated condition of the room and lack of modern amenities, I didn’t feel the stay offered good value for money. The resort seems to be in need of some updates to justify its pricing. Overall, I probably wouldn’t stay here again. Probably better for young families with kids at most.

Beautiful resort with GORGEOUS views of the Cheyenne Mountains. We were blown away by the aquatics center, wow! I've seen many reviews say the rooms are dated but that was not our experience. Our room seemed newly remodeled and modern with a great balcony view (E building). The staff was very friendly; from check-in to dining at Elevations. Got to watch a storm roll in over the mountain one night which was really neat. Room service was fun too! Traveled here with our 5yo for three nights and it did not disappoint.

I recently stayed at this hotel and made my reservation through a third-party website . Unfortunately, upon arrival, I discovered the hotel was charging me an additional $40 per night as a “resort fee”, which I was not informed about beforehand when I call to ask if there were any extra fees, the receptionist only mentioned a parking fee of $12. To make matters worse, the receptionist I spoke with on my first day was incredibly rude. Thankfully, the other staff members were much friendlier throughout the rest of my stay. If you're traveling with dog, be aware that the hotel charges $35 per night per dog. I had two with me, and while I was okay with paying the fee, I was disappointed to find that there was no designated area for dogs to run around. In other similar hotels I have stayed at, when they charge a high pet fee, they have fenced areas designated for dogs. Many parts of the hotel are in serious need of repair. For example, the stairways were falling apart, and several times, my key card stopped working, requiring me to visit the front desk for reprogramming. On a positive note, the restaurant service was excellent, and the staff there was very pleasant. However, the rooms themselves were no different than those of a cheaper hotel—simple, lacking in amenities like streaming services (the TVs only had old cable channels), and not worth the premium price. I visit Colorado twice a year, but I won’t be staying at this hotel again.

This is absolutely beautiful, no noise issues and we we’re the bottom floor. It’s bigger than expected and the hospitality was superb. I booked two rooms presuming we would be next to one another and my guests showed a day earlier but was still accommodated. Unfortunately we were not able to be close and were in two separate buildings due to being filled and the concierge understood and accommodated us to our liking and we appreciated for going above and beyond. There were no major issues with the stay and all the staff members were amazing and even receiving a cart ride to the locations we wanted within a time frame was lovely. We got to explore the area and we wish it did not end so soon but this was a phenomenal experience during my trip for my college graduation ceremony. My whole family enjoyed every moment and experience. I’ve never felt so refreshed after this. We had to try at least once for dinner and breakfast and it was spectacular but expensive for myself and my family but we still enjoyed it and now we know what to expect when we plan to revisit. This a place we would come next time in the summer. There was a couple weddings going on during our stay that we past and again never heard any noise on property. The only other problem we had at check out was when my guest noticed a double charge on his room for the night stay, it was presented to the staff and they immediately corrected the error. We only had one first night toilet issue which was handled swiftly. Other than that I would recommend from my experience to anyone to definitely come stay here in the summer time at least if your going out to visit. Loved every moment. The location is beautiful

Called and got a quote for a room that was near $150 less than what they ended up charging me. Almost $80 worth of unspecified "taxes and fees" were added to my final bill without any explanation of what exactly was being taxed. The rooms were mediocre for the price. The caulk and molding along the entire room was cracked and peeling off. The steps leading up to the "lodge" were crumbling apart as we stepped on them. The AC didn't bring the room below mid 70s during the height of summer. The bathroom was dirty and again the flooring was peeling and the paint was chipped and old. The doors were paint stripped and filled with splinters. The floor we were on obviously had lots of people because from the time we arrived to the time we left the room service plates hadn't been touched so the hallways were lined with trash and food. The only good thing was the breakfast buffet. And even then we had to wait about 15 minutes in line to get seated for a half full dining room. The food was fine. Bit hard to mess up breakfast. Overall we will never be coming back here. I've been to 'Super 8 Motels' that were cleaner and had better rooms. And for the exorbitant price just drive 10 minutes to the Broadmoor up the road.

If you’re looking for a luxury stay this is not the place for you. There is no valet and the buildings are far from the main building. Additionally, the buildings with rooms do not have elevators. We were on a third floor and had to carry all of our luggage up which is a bit of an inconvenience for the price you pay to stay here. The outdoor appearance is more of a lodge/cabin experience versus that of a luxury hotel. The inside of our room was very modern and the bed was very comfortable. Additionally, the view was gorgeous… although we did pay extra for a room with a view. There is a country club across the street from the resort. You can play tennis, golf, visit the spa, or many different pools. The only downside is that you have to walk or drive because it’s not conveniently near the bedrooms. I did attend the spa and absolutely loved it. They were very professional and nice. It’s worth checking out if you do stay here. My major complaint is the slow service at both the breakfast restaurant and the elevations restaurant. Both times we went to elevations, we had to wait atleast twenty minutes to get serviced and it wasn’t busy. Even after being serviced, food wait times are ridiculously slow. The bar is great though. Everyone is really nice as far as staff goes but the service is just slow and the resort seems a little run down considering the cost. Oh and the walls are super thin. I can hear everything from the people around me. It’s not their fault but it is annoying when you are trying to relax. Great spot for families but not a super romantic/relaxing spot for couples.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights, third week in Aug. while the view from your balcony is a million dollar view, that’s where it kinda stops. It didn’t take long to see if your not there for a convention, your treated different. We SO looked forward to having a couple of relaxing intimate breakfast in the mornings with the “ million dollar “ view. We go to the restaurant to be seated, and we’re asked if we’re with a private event. No, we’re just paying guest. Sorry, but it’s a private event and we can’t get in. A woman says, come with me. She takes us over to the bar area and wants to seat us in the back where there was some tables. I said, we’re not sitting in the dark back there. We wanted the buffet and view over where the breakfast for guest is supposed to be, she says there’s a view outside here. It’s a view of cars in the parking lot. We left and took our money elsewhere. Then we tried to eat dinner, and got subpar quality food and even an attitude from some guy that brought our food. I said, I hate toasted baguette, and asked for it to not be toasted. She said no problem when I ordered. He says, well, that’s the way the bread comes. I asked why I wasn’t told that or offered different bread. He looks at me and say, because that’s the way it comes and walks away. We got to use the pool two days. While the pool and hot tub was nice, there were next to no umbrella’s, and the bar and grill was closed. The rooms need tlc bad. At least ours. For 400 a night, it was unacceptable. I have a whole list of stuff that wasn’t good in there, but will spare you if you’re still reading this. We won’t stay here again, unless we see much improvement.

This place felt like the ultimate package. Although I was here on business, the amenities were unmatched. The fitness facility was incredible, the room was spotless, and the lobby atmosphere was exquisite. I happened to be staying during the Stanley Cup, and the resort bar was hopping. Definitely hope to stay again!

My bride and I enjoyed our stay immensely. It took a lot to coordinate a wedding and therefore didn’t get to spend as much time as we wanted to at Chateaux as we wanted but the evenings were filled with romance due to the ambiance of the house. Th
