Cabin 16 Everline was very comfortable, clean, neat, and tidy, quiet, and has many great amenities including a nice size kitchen. The sheets (so soft) and towels were fluffy white and high quality. The king bed was very comfortable. The home is located within walking distance to so many wonderful restaurants. We had two amazing dinners at Arrowleaf and Mesa. We went to the Barnyard Theater for a glass of wine and a movie. |THE BEST! Diane & Mark
Recently spent 3 nights at the Chewuch Inn & Cabins. The location and option to have a private cabin is great. The staff is friendly, the food offered at the buffet good. However, the cabin floor and surfaces were filthy with grey dust, too many spiders, fleas and bugs, we ended up having to cleaning it up ourselves. They need to spray the interior and exterior for insects, wipe down all surfaces, vacuum and mop! We spent $40 in cleanning supplies just to get it reasonable. A light touch by housekeeping prior to arrival given to cabin cleanning IS NOT an acceptable or pleasant surprise when spending the money we spent for 3 nights.
Great Inn in walking distance to the cute downtown. Room perfectly clean and delightfully furnished, a great step above standard motel and hotel interior. The best thing was the breakfast, though: Homemade quiche, coffee cakes, muffins and scones. They also provided bagels and English muffins, granola, oatmeal, fruit, yogurt. And not a plastic wrapping in sight!!!!
We had every intention of staying here for 2 nights in July but didn't make it due to a wildfire blocking North Cascades Highway (Route 20).|We booked our July 23-7/25/24 reservation back on 10/6/23 with a total bill of $399.18 and paid $164.60 as a deposit. Per their rules, they billed me the remaining $234.58 on July 10. Their policy states that there are no refunds for any reason after 14 days prior to your arrival. On 7/23/24 on our way up from Seattle we were hearing about a wildfire that was blocking Route 20, our direct route to Winthrop. We stopped at a Ranger Station and asked for advice. He said he highly advised us to cancel our reservation at the Chewuch Inn since it would require an additional 6 hours to get there plus then an additional 6 hours backtracking from Winthrop on July 25. So we called the hotel and explained why we had to cancel and asked for a refund. They refused. I told them they should be making an exception due to the wildfire blocking the road, and they were firm in denying my request. I called back 2 days later hoping they would reconsider their position, and they remained firm. But no refund for a wildfire? This is not right. Do not book this place if wildfires are a possibility.
The management and staff were incredibly helpful and gracious for their support to help us navigate the closures of the highway due to forest fires in the North Cascades. I would 100% recommend this accommodation for the support and hospitality. It’s rare to find accommodations that truly care about their guests the way this place does. Please do yourself a favor and book this place!
Great place if you are looking for piece and quite. We did not get the best information when we checked in. The clerk was friendly but she didn't give us good directions to our room, which was in a separate building and we were not advised that there we small signs that requested the room to be serviced that we had to put on the door. The included breakfast was OK but it could have been better with more variety. The waffle making machine didn't work properly and no staff member that we talked to seemed to know anything about it. The room was clean and comfortable.
PROS: Stayed in cozy private cabin (slightly uphill/reasonable walking/driving distance from main building) with rear deck and hot tub (didn’t use hot tub though). Vehicle parking at cabin. Clean, well maintained. Vaulted wood ceiling. Comfortable queen size bed. Given relatively remote location of Winthrop, nevertheless reasonably priced. CONS: Only apple juice available at breakfast. Good quiche and other home made items vs usual "wet eggs" breakfast. Limited breakfast hours (0800 – 0900). BOTTOMLINE: Recommended stay.
We booked Chewuch Inn with the intention of traveling the Scenic Cascade Loop. Unfortunately the road was closed just beyond Winthrop, so that was impossible... Because we had to leave early to backtrack to get to Seattle to catch our flight we didn't get to enjoy breakfast... Our room was clean and comfortable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Chewuch Inns and Cabins while you visit Winthrop.
Will absolutely stay here the next time we need a hotel in the Winthrop area! We were in a King size river view room for 2 nights over an October weekend. The first thing I noticed was it was super clean and the room has been updated. From the time w
Really quaint setting great music in the beer tents at night, during the day I can get mighty hot. Make sure you hydrate well. This year they had the greatest blues guitarists alive christone kingfish. I do worry for that man's healthy looks like he'
The food here is incredible. We were visiting from Portland, and consider ourselves foodies, and Meza blew us away. We got several small plates and each was so fresh and so tasty, and very reasonably priced. My partner has celiac and almost the entir
The best! We booked last minute and got a great tent site, right on the lake with a small beach! What more could a #130 Malamute ask for? Bathrooms were clean and accessible, parking was easy and crowd was pleasant and quiet. I must admit, the night
