This place was amazing! There are several trails of all levels. I went solely for the falls and it didn't disappoint! I went at after a few days of heavy rain. Trails were fine, but there was more water than normal. So crossing the stones in the river was a bit more challenging than anticipated. Still very worth it! I'm definitely looking forward to my next trip there!

I had made a reservation for a camper site. It was well-defined and easy for me to back into. Had grill, fire ring , picnic table. It was a full hook up site with water, sewer, and electric. It said that there was cable, but it is something I don't use. I qualify for the senior discount, but the website said that proof would be needed at check-in. Credit has already been made. Bathhouse is clean and air-conditioned. One washer, one dryer, so I was able to get a load of clothes washed.

Definitely love this area, always amazing to come different times different days and months. It does get very humid 🥵, make sure you have plenty of hydrated drinks to bring. Extreme trail to hike, definitely worth it. Roughly I think it's about almost 700 acres of gorgeous scenery along with the trails. Pets allowed on leash, but if trained properly they can be off leash. They close at 5 pm, so if you want to hike the whole area best to just camp there and you can get it hiked in 4 days max. Very peaceful and healing especially if you need a safe place to just chill with friends or just by yourself or with family. This is my 5th time here and usually it's better to come between March and September. Bathrooms are tiny, but at least they have that.

I loved this park. My dog and I walked for hours over the entire place. We had water, sewer, and a 30A site. It was midwinter, but every this was nice and clean. It's near Auburn and the University. Fairly busy too.The remains of the CCC camp are still visible Highly recommend.

Sites are close, but not you have a decent size pad. We tent camped and all the campsites were relatively close to the bathhouse. The bathhouse hasn't been updated in a bit. Our site also backed up to some trails, but it wasn't obnoxious and the whole experience has been quite peaceful. The lake had a good crowd on Sunday afternoon, but the kids enjoyed swimming and fishing. Gravel pads, staff was very friendly. The did have ice at the main gate. So close to main town and it is easy to drive in to Auburn for food and amenities.

There's a lot of construction going on here. But it looks like the park district is making some much needed improvements. It's a great place to enjoy nature. I caught my biggest bass here at this park right off the bank.

I stopped by here for a quick hike and to see the waterfall. Honestly, this park is much larger than I expected and it took me a little while to find my way around, but everything is well marked. There's also a wonderful waterfall towards the back that you can either walk downhill to get to or take a much longer trail around to get to. Of course the quicker trail is much more difficult but is manageable. I saw middle-aged people and children also doing difficult hike with adults. The waterfall is great and you can get some really wonderful photos of the waterfall and around the area because there are plenty of rocks that are above the surface of the creek. Also, plenty of public restrooms here as well.

Full of some of the best nature Alabama has to offer. The lake by the front is great for swimming and has a diving board, and streams and smaller lakes can be found throughout the dense forest of trails. Be prepared for very humid heat in the summertime.
