Lovely place to run along the track and reservoir. Lots of water birds to watch as you exercise. Very peaceful, relaxing and calming place to be.

Beautiful track to get you to the step count set by walking, jogging, strolling. One loop is about 1.5 miles long.

One of the best place to enjoy sunset in Brookline area. Great atmosphere with peace and bird sounds. You can take a walk in morning or evening or anytime. Huge parking space available.

This is a really nice place for a walk, run or just to sit and enjoy a nice view. The sunsets here are really nice regardless of the time of year and it’s open year round. They keep it pretty clean even when it’s snowed. I’ve been coming here since last year and am recently disabled. There’s a nice little roundabout of parking and parking on the street next to it as well which is free. There’s a good amount of steps. Maybe somewhere between 20-30 and there are atleast two paved walking trail leading up to the tightly packed gravel path that loops around the reservation. The shortest path is pretty steep but doable if you have mobility aids (I walk with two canes). If you have a wheelchair you can get in but the less steep path is longer. Once you get into the loop, it’s all nice and flat. There are also atleast 3-4 benches to the right of the entrance along the trail and a couple right next to the entrance so you can walk and then rest a bit before continuing in that portion.

I walk the reservoir as close to daily as I can! The views at sunset are spectacular. Nice path around the water with plenty of benches to stop and rest. Gorgeous birds on the water--ducks,geese, and swans. Restful shade in the forest and nice places to lay out a blanket and read or eat while looking out on the water. Pet and family friendly for sure.

Makes you forget that you're in a city. Fantastic sunsets and sunrises. One of the best walking trails in the area. Plenty of space for riding bikes and walking your dog. Lots of cool nature paths to explore. I'll be going back when it's a bit warmer, the lake was partially frozen when I went and the wind was killer!
