I found a great place for plate & brew. Everything tasted homemade. Oshkosh has a good one here. Food, service, drinks & hometown feel. If we lived closer we would be there more often. Thank you for the quality experience!
Chester V’s is one of those places for the “Old Fashioned Passport.” The flavor profile was particularly noteworthy as it was a short double. The cheese curds taste similar to Milwaukee Burger Company. The cheese curds are adequate, but likewise, nothing to brag about; they are a 6/10. Indexed in the same rating as Culver’s and Milwaukee Burger Company’s cheese curds. It's a frequented destination for those new to the area and a typical dwelling for the local patrons. The ambiance is pleasant, and the staff is exemplary at their jobs. Keep in mind that it may be a bit too noisy due to the acoustics from the layout of the building if you come in high traffic times, as sound travels across the elongated bar/dining area exceptionally well. (Low ceiling, narrow corridor) Try eating on their outdoor patio when it gets warm.
Wife's baked haddock was seasoned very good and my ayce flounder was just okay. Chips with homemade chip dip was delicious.
Just tried them for restaurant week and man it was good. Had a Rúben, baked beans, coleslaw, and a Guiness stout & spotted cow to wash it all down. Excellent flavor with it all.
The patio area is nice and dog friendly which is great!! Took awhile to get our food. I ordered the Pulled Pork Benedict, eggs were hard, so disappointing, hollandaise was broke and weird looking. My husband got the Monte Cristo Waffle Sandwhich, nothing to write home about. This was our third visit and each time we've left unimpressed. Won't be back anytime soon.
Best place for Sunday brunch! Love the Mimosa flights, mango is my favorite.
The five stars for service is for our bartender/host/waiter/and his great attitude. The smoked wings were great and everyone enjoyed their food. We sat outside which was nice.
The worst Eggs Benedict I have ever had - which is saying a lot! The hashbrowns were cold, limp and soggy. The English Muffin was so burnt it could barely be cut. The staff were yelling and swearing throughout the restaurant, very unprofessional.

This place is LOVELY and the food is incredible. When I walked in the smell was so good I felt instantly hungry. I got the Saturday special and Iâve never had anything like it. It was comforting, meaty, smoky, and tasty like a hug in a bowl. So goo
Little gem of a store that was right up my alley. Many inspiring pieces and ideas. Prices are great. The owner was present, friendly, and helpful. Will definitely visit again. I got this lantern along with a few other fabulous finds.
