My boyfriend and I found this place for lunch. They're open from 11:00 till 2:30 in the afternoon serving lunch. Had a Blackboard full of good old Southern Comfort food. I ordered the hamburger steak with grilled onions mashed potatoes and Black Eyed Peas. It came with some Mexican cornbread but it was rather dry. We prefer ours a little moist and sweet. My boyfriend ordered the chicken pot pie which he said was excellent. As well as lima beans and black eyed peas for him too. These people were hustling. They were quick with drinks and food everything. And the restaurant was pretty full. Not a long wait though! We'll definitely be back!
Stopped in today for the first time and received a generous welcome from every one of the service team, including the owner. Place was packed, a strong indicator that the food must be good. I had the pork chop, mashed potatoes/gravy and turnip greens. My lunch partner had the field peas, butter beans, and squash casserole. Clearly the best southern cooking I have ever had at a restaurant. Service was top notch and friendly. We will be back and we will share our discovery with others.
Food is good and hot, it seems to be all homemade. I do think it is a little overpriced. With that being said, I have been there several times because it is good food and not fast food.
Although it's only a few miles from me, this was the first time here with daughter who was visiting. I didn't realize what I have been missing. Service was outstanding, food was good and the dessert's were off the charts. I would kinda compare this place to Judy's place over in Mobile except you get real mashed potatoes at Cheryl's. I now visit weekly. 11am-2PM, get there early or they run out of stuff.
7 of us girls had another great lunch there yesterday, so I thought I would update review. Great food, as usual! I got the Monte Cristo sandwich... so good! We had to try their Banana Pudding (because my Mom makes perfect homemade banana pudding)... theirs was also delicious! Marissa was our server...so attentive and could not ask for a better server! Everyone there is very friendly and helpful!! Great girls day out lunch!! Delicious food! Great service!! We have to go again and try out some other items on their daily specials!! Can't wait!

Best place I’ve eaten in a long time I travel for work and I’m home for a week and haven’t tried this place before but it reminds me of my grandma’s kitchen smells good and taste excellent!!
We love our Cheryl’s ! It’s a cut of our South with gracious hospitality and the pleasure to please. Fresh veggies from our local farmers. And the best Banana Pudding God put on this dear earth. I adore the wait staff. Always a smile from Cheryl, Kim, Rhonda and Suzanne. Let’s not forget the cooking staff with Mitch. ALWAYS smiling. If you have never had Cheryl’s crawfish bisque?
