Very tranquil beautiful old golf course gone wild! The old cart trail makes the walking path easy even if there are a few big hills. Wild life is abundant! Very enjoyable walk. Only down side is no pets allowed. Which I understand since it is a wildlife refuge!
This is a beautiful Preserve with 2 looped trails. Approx 1.7 mile long, each trail. Definitely worth a visit

Daily trek up mountain alongside Sorrenti winery allows for a great exercise regimen through the woods and just below the Appalachian Trail. Just make sure you are dressed properly with the ticks in the area and carry a bear horn. We live in the neighborhood and view multiple different wildlife (including bears) walk through our yard.
We were told about the park that used to be a golf course and decided to go! I was excited to enjoy a beautiful walk with my husband and our dogs until we got out of the car to see pets are not allowed. Extremely disappointing.
Only good thing was 18th hole you know your done, good price but nothing much else. I was up from FL where I play private course, we actually have too much sand in our traps. Won’t go back there.
