Me and my family enjoyed our 2 night stay in the Cottage it was wonderful, Scott is very attentive and friendly. Beautiful place, loved the flowers and my kids loved the Peacock. My daughter even left her Mickey Mouse she sleeps with every night and they called us letting us know they were going to send it out to us! Thank you for such a wonderful experience. Definitely recommend staying here and we will be back.

We were a little concerned with the upkeep on arrival. Little did we know that it was because everything was natual habitat and well mainted for that reason. Scott was a great host bringing us firewood everyday to use in the beautiful, outdoor fireplace in the pavillon where our group played! It was perfect, clean and secluded. We will be returning. Scott leven let ups trim some of the coral honeysuckle to take back home.

Cannot describe how breath taken we were. Such an amazing and carefully tended place that no other resort around Whitney compares in the least. The nature trails, wildlife feed stations and private dock are unmatched and even the kitchen utensils come fully stocked. The family even provides a binder detailing the wide variety of plants and telling the stories of their very beloved wildlife. You will be treated completely at home here.

Cherokee village is one of the nicest places to stay on lake Whitney. We were visiting Serenity cove and had planned to stay at another place but when we got there the place was horrible. Made a call to Cherokee village and they put me in a room with ease. The room was set up like an apartment and very modern with an old time feel. The king size mattress was wonderful and actually got some well needed rest. The gentleman who rented me the room was very polite and even had the heater on for us when we got there and pointed us in the right direction to get something to eat before we called it a night. If I ever have reason to go back to that area I will definitely be reserving me a room at Cherokee Village Resort.

We had our family reunion here over the Memorial weekend, we had a wonderful time. Scott was so accommodating, and so friendly. The cabins were nice and clean the grounds were clean at all times. They have a great place to swim or fish off the dock, we had such a nice time love the pavilion. We've booked for next memorial weekend.

Our family have been getting together yearly and as our family grew, it has been hard to find a place that accommodates everyone with also a reasonable price Well, we hit the "jack pot" with Cherokee Village Resort. We had the entire place, the commons area was perfect for our needs. Meals, hanging out and playing games . They have corn hole board, that was perfect. We had several "tournament's The grounds were perfect for the kids to roam and play. Pete, Jack and Snowflake, the peacocks were fun to watch. The caretakers, Scott and Patsy were AWSOME host. There were there several times a day to check on how we The rooms could use some updating BUT the kitchen is fully stocked and the beds were very comfortable and rooms were clean! We were only in our rooms to sleep, Everything in the commons area. The walk to the lake is rocky and a little steep, so have good shoes because it is work the walk! The water is clear and clean. We brought floats of all sizes that was a BIG hit. The ONLY negative is no ladder at the dock, we make it work but really needs a ladder. We will be coming back next June with a ladder LOL !!

Best nights sleep I’ve had in months. And the dock was nice to use great overhead cover. And the staff was very friendly. The best thing that I wasn’t prepared for was the peacocks walking around that was a bonus. I will definitely return with family.

We had a great time here! The cabin we stayed in was very clean and had everything you need. The peacocks were absolutely beautiful! The owners were very nice and accommodating. The boat dock was in great shape! Very quite and peaceful. We cooked on the grill and enjoyed our dinner on the screened in porch. We will be back to stay here again soon!
