The skate park is reasonably fun if you are an old man that has become fat. The ground is pretty smooth, but the lack of any kind of wind break can cause problems. A strong gust can slow an aged rotund gentleman quite considerably. The metal composition of the rails can be either sticky or super slick, there is no in between. The micro volcano is by far my favorite thing.
We always enjoy going to this park. The play area is nice and has benches and tables to sit or bring a picnic in the middle. There is a walking path, pickleball and tennis courts and a skate park area as well. There is a nice football field facility area. There is a newly finished indoor recreation facility now as well. I know there is a rock climbimg wall I see from outside. However, I have not been inside to say what else is there for use. At Christmas time starting around Thanksgiving or shortly after, they have a drive through lights display that is nice and inexpensive per car.
A multi use county park with a 1 1/2 mile paved walking trail, playground, football/lacrosse field, community center with gym, and a catch & release pond.
This place was amazing and we have come to the light show for the last 3 years in a row for Christmas. But there are tons of playgrounds, restrooms, and picnic areas, and it is dog-friendly.
Nice park to attend with kids or your family, they have bathrooms on site plus a playground and a skate park nearby. Good festivals when they are in season. Parking is limited, especially if there is an event.
