Cherokee Grand Hotel - Hotel in Cherokee - 196 Paint Town Rd, USA

Easy check in, great location. Room was clean, bathroom was clean and had plenty of towels, tissue, hand soap, body wash, shampoo, etc. Bed was extremely hard, I got very little sleep. Great bathroom amenities, even for someone with mobility issues. The furniture in the room was nice and accommodating for a person with mobility issues and for a larger built person. TV was big but bad reception. Our room was next to the ice machine which was noisy and disturbing. The free breakfast wasn't nothing but coffee, juice and muffins, danish. That was disappointing. Guess we need to stay at the Comfort Inn and Suites or The Holiday Inn Express if we want a nice complimentary breakfast with eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, toast, etc. My companion used the stairs and he said they were nasty, looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a year. Would love to stay here again if they have a king room that has a bed that isn't so hard.

Positive: Cleanliness was my main concern and that was met all around. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. Negative: The only thing that I can complain about is that the vending machines are not being supplied correctly. We bought 2 drinks and they were both out of date by a couple months

We stayed here for two nights, to be used as base to visit the Great Smoky Mountains. |General Impression: |This is more a motel than a hotel. The first room we were assigned had a really bad smell, so we went back to the reception. We immediately were given another room in the main building. That was better! Room and bathroom were both spacious. There was a small window but no view.|Free parking area is provided, lots of spaces. |Location: |Cherokee seemed to be very remote, shops and restaurants were mostly closed. We can not quite recommend it. |It is close enough to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Nearby is the visitor center, there is also a big meadow where you can spot lots of elks. |Breakfast:|Very basic and simple, but nice it is provided. ||conclusion: |We had an okay time, but we would not come back. |

The hotel was very nice and clean. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were very clean and the shower pressure was amazing!! When you wake up in the morning they offer light breakfast and the Apple Danish is delicious!! I really enjoyed my stay!!

We got a good overnight price at this hotel which is diagonally across from the casino. The room was clean and comfortable with easy to use key cards. We drove over to the casino after we checked in and had difficulty locating our vehicle later. The next day before walking over to the casino I asked the manager if could leave our car in the parking lot after we checked out. She graciously allowed us to do just that. My only gripe was that the standard waffles and eggs weren't available, but we certainly would stay here again.

Absolutely wonderful hotel!!! I stay weekly here for work and I couldn't be happier. The rooms are in amazing shape and the beds are super comfortable l!! The staff is always helpful and super nice. I've traveled a lot in the past 20 years and this hotel is definitely in my top 3! I would recommend it to anyone!

It is a good place for the price on certain days! The room did smell a little stale and the AC had a mildew smell to it. However, the beds were clean and well made. The bathroom was well maintained. Staff were polite and helpful.
