Lauren was our server.. she was awesome.. place was clean busy drinks were fabulous.. I had the halibut fish tacos.. My beans tasted old My rice was hard.. and the tacos weren't any better than street tacos I've had for $3 a piece.. seems a little expensive for what it was!! A friend took me.. glad they paid..not me

Great first visit here. Compared to the old location, the menu is much more straightforward and yet still offers some new things. (Brisket enchiladas pictured.) Bar seating is amazing and spacious, dining room has wide mountain views, and the main seating area doesn’t have the tables all jammed close together.

We went on a busy Friday night and our 45 minute wait time went to 20 minutes at next check and then 25 minutes the next check and then we were seated about 20 minutes later. Much busier than anticipated, but there was space for kids to run and play outdoors while we waited. Beautiful and modern design, spacious, and upbeat atmosphere. Our service staff was polite and prompt although one person in our party had their food delivered as we were all finishing. Without asking, the manager took that dish off our bill and personally apologized for the delay. I wasn't particularly upset at all about the delay, but appreciated the gesture that much more because it was offered not asked. Delicious fried ice cream! We will certainly return, but not likely to go on a Friday night.

Lunch time visit. Good food, smaller portions than fast food restaurants but very delicious. The new building with gorgeous mountain views is a beautiful addition to Wasilla, and we will be back again. Good frendly service and reasonable priced menu. Thank you.

Chepo's was a wonderful dining experience! Very open layout that makes you feel like you have plenty of room. The service was friendly and kept our glasses full while bringing our food. The food was an awesome mix of americana and mexican cuisine. A must stop if you are in the Wasilla area.

Had a great experience! Service and food was amazing and tasted great! The special fried ice cream was especially delicious. I loved the Oreo one specifically. Only thing that can be improved if the seating arrangement because sound from other customers travels a lot in the dining room. Overall great time and will come again!

First time eating at Chepos and we loved it! The service was outstanding and the food was delicious. We ordered the white queso, birria tacos and fajita burrito. Not only was the food mouth watering, it came out quickly. 10/10 recommend!

The service was great. The atmosphere was good. The food was lack luster. One dish was the Chepo Special. The sauce broke and became an oily mess. The chicken & halibut was over cooked, the shrimp was ok. The other meal was the Acapulco. The shrimp was overcooked, but chicken was fine. The sauce was a very strong cheese sauce that reminded us of Alfredo sauce. The sides were ok for beans and rice, nothing special. The best part of the meal was the chips & salsa, and the chicken taquitos. Had heard good things about here, but unfortunately, like with so many Alaska restaurants, good for Alaska doesn't mean good overall.
