Very relaxed restaurant with excellent food. We ordered a small variety of tacos which aren’t cheap ($3.50). They came well dressed wit fresh spices, grilled onions, and a roasted jalapeño and cucumber on the side. Chips and salsa came with seating at no extra charge. The meals were delivered fast, correct, well presented and very delicious. The staff don’t appear to speak English as a first language but were patient with our poor Spanish and they got the order across and correctly. We’ll be back!

Flavorful tacos at a reasonable price! We do a taco tour each month with our taco loving teenage daughter, so we are picky! We ordered Pastor, Barbacoa and chorizo. My thoughts: Pastor was spicy. Not hot spicy- it was a strong flavorful spice. It was good but not my favorite of the 3. But we all enjoyed it. Barbacoa was my favorite. In the flavor range it was in the middle. Not as strong and zesty as the pastor but not as mild as the chorizo. Chorizo was surprisingly mild. I enjoyed it and would order it again. The chips and salsa are complimentary and the basket sits empty now. When we arrived the music as a bit loud for conversation, she was happy to lower it a bit and charming for the entire visit. We were served quickly and everything is hot and fresh. The restraint is clean, roomy and very inviting. Great place to meet up with friends and take the family. This is close to our house and will end up being a frequent Taco Tuesday stop after work.

First off the prices online are not the prices in the restaurant, they need to update the prices. I came in and ordered to take out and didn't realize the prices were different until she swiped my card, the churrasco on their online menu says 19.99 and it's really $25, I got that and two grilled chicken meals which Also went up from $13.99 to 14.99 in my opinion if you don't change your online prices you should honor the prices that are posted. But that's not even the worst part when I got home and opened the container I couldn't believe I paid $58 plus $10 tip for what I got they really skimped out big time the portions were so small. The amount of food i received was not worth what i was charged at all. Not Worth it!!! Although The food was good it had good flavor no complaints there but my gosh I feel like I got ripped off.

We tried Chela’s for the very first time tonight and I am beyond disappointed. We got it to go and my husband and I both ordered chimichangas. Mine was the shredded beef chimi, there were four pieces of BONE in my food. Four chunks that I easily could have broken a tooth on or cut my throat up if swallowed. I couldn’t eat it after I pulled the fourth piece of bone out. The rice was super dry and the refried beans were liquid. So odd. We also ordered the queso and I don’t know what they put in it was it was a solid chunk of cheese with grease on top. Also not edible. I am not happy and will be going in tomorrow to ask for a refund!

Chelas amazing and out standing food truck that was parked in front of Red Barn for years upon years, has finally has their own restaurant! It is so great to see this palm beach county staple of fresh, delicious mouth watering Mexican food. Now have a store front! The food is out of this world good. They have food for everyone meat eaters, omnivores, vegetarians and even vegans. The consistency of the quality of food hasn't changed if anything it's only gotten a little bit better. This is a must go to place for authentic Mexican cuisine in palm beach county.

I did not see much authenticity in this place plastic decorations and an Arizona paint job don't get it done. December 19th 22 my first visit was mediocre and the flautas were overcooked. Second visit December 10th 23 could barely talk to my partner over the blaring Spanish music. The place was empty. His entree was fantastic my wet burrito was very Bland. He ordered jalapeno poppers that came out soggy greasy and absolutely terrible looking we sent those back. I did my due diligence I waited a year in between visits this place has no authenticity. If you want food value for your hard-earned dollars go to Amigos on Okeechobee Boulevard in West Palm Beach between Haverhill and Military Trail for authentic Mexican Cuisine and subtle Spanish music playing in the background instead of bouncing your Margarita up and down on the table.

Iced tea tasted like it had chemicals in it. Chips and taco bowl were cold and nearly stale. Beans and rice were cold. Guacamole was the preprocessed kind! Yuck! No flour tortillas were served with fajitas, but cold, store-bought corn tortillas instead. A disappointment from start to finish. We could not wait to get the bill and run out of this place!!

We’ve been here twice just for takeout, and the food has been incredible!! The wet burrito (carne asada) has been our favorite, and it’s the size of the takeout box! You can tell the food is authentic and homemade. We had no surprises on pricing and thought the price was very reasonable for the quality and portions
